We had heard mixed reviews about antenatal classes (not HPHB) and were slightly apprehensive about what the classes would be like and what we would get out of it. In the end we were both so delighted that we did sign up and couldn’t have had a better experience. The midwives leading the courses were lovely, knowledgeable, happy to answer questions and made everyone feel comfortable. The sessions were a good mix of being given information and also socialising and practicing various ‘skills’. We also met some lovely people (although this wasn’t a driving force for us to do the course) it was nice to come away with friends in the same situation as us. The online sessions were very useful - for me I was particularly interested in speaking with the obstetrician and the paediatrician. It’s great they have so many experts on hand to answer your questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
We had a great experience with HPHB. We attended the course in Sheffield, and have met so many other lovely parents to be by doing so. Between the online videos, face to face sessions and webinars, it feels like the course covers all the essentials and more. And you get to keep access to the online content for 6 months so I'm sure we'll be dipping back into it when baby comes. Special mention to Annie the amazing midwife who led our face to face sessions. She was so welcoming and informative. She talked through everything in a really calming way and gave expert answers to all our questions. Thank you HPHB for helping us feel more ready for the arrival of our first little one.
HPHB have been really informative and Charlie who ran our course was great. No question was too silly. The online platform was really helpful and laid out in and easy to use way. The venue was nice and large enough for all of the couples. My partner and I look forward to the catch up in October. Thanks HBHP!
I would highly recommend happy parents happy baby for first time parents or any parents wanting a refreshers and to meet like minded parents. The midwife leading our sessions was fantastic, so knowledgeable but also friendly and willing and able to answer all our questions! The online portal is also a great resource.

As a first time Mum-to-be, I had absolutely no idea what to expect. So many of my friends had emphasised how much they took from anti-natal classes so it was a no-brainer for us to book onto one. I was recommended Happy Parents, Happy Baby by a friend. The course was amazing - very relaxed, a great venue and such a safe space where any form of question, however stupid, was answered and listened to. Lauren, our course facilitator, was amazing and the other couples on this course we instantly clicked with. The online course material was a big help, as well as all the additional links for support and guidance. I would recommend this course to anyone. We absolutely loved it and will take away such a lot from it.
Very friendly and informative course. Alot of online resources as well which are in the form of easy to digest video clips incase you need to go over any areas again at home. It's also got a great social aspect for those looking to meet other like minded parents.
The course content was amazing, so informative (both in person and online). The hosts were great, and we had a fantastic venue. The fact there were 14 couples at our session was also fab - meant we made lots of new friends!
