No longer a customer after 40 years.

I have been a Harmon's customer for 40 years. I learned that expired coupons were no longer accepted. I had saved many coupons that had become obsolete. Furthermore, BBB closed the store near me. I received a 25% off on entire purchase and asked a cashier if I could use it at Harmon's on the date indicated. She said I could. I traveled a distance to get to Harmon's today and was told the coupon could be used only at BBB. I will never again be a customer.

Today I decided I will NOT shop at…

Today I decided I will NOT shop at Harmon ever again! I went to the register with over $100 worth of items WHICH THE CASHIER RANG UP, only to be told they do not accept expired (by one day) Harmon coupons any longer. Well guess what I did...I didn't buy a single thing!!!!! I made the cashier delete all of the items she rang up. Ulta here I come!

Horrible horrible

Horrible horrible. They have signs to get 20% of entire order if you shop and sign up today. I go to the cashier and lady saying she is not sure but my cupon will arrive in 24h. So how is that a deal when I’m shopping today ?????? And then I call customer service and gentleman going to tell me “ oh I’m sorry I can’t do anything as we are updating system “. Stressful system

Unsympathetic Customer Service

Had a humiliating run in with a person (either the manger herself or office staff) at the branch at 2171 Broadway in NYC. They had two public restrooms available to customers (specifically indicated on signs) in the lower level. I was experiencing severe stomach distress. One was occupied, so I was going to enter the other available, when the worker in question came out and refused to let me use the available one, saying it was for her "private use." I said it did not say that, and that I had a right to use it. In addition, I asked her for her compassion as I was in distress and it was an emergency, but she continued to refuse. I said she was absolutely heartless, but she did not care. Before I could just force myself in, the occupied bathroom became available. and I was able to save myself in time.I cannot imagine how a person could be so unsympathetic in what was obviously an emergency. I will never shop in this branch again.

I received a birthday gift in the mail…

I received a birthday gift in the mail from a relative and took it to the Closter, NJ Harmon store to return or exchange. The gift receipt said “if you are not satisfied return to your local store.” I tried that. When I got there the 15 year old cashier was clueless and the manager rolled his eyes and said “we don’t do that.”He was rude and dismissive. I showed him the gift receipt which clearly said “if for any reason you are not satisfied return to your local store for exchange or credit.” It said Harmon Face Values on the gift receipt. He said we don’t do that here. I asked why and he kept saying “because we don’t,” They redid the store with less selection. discontinued carrying many useful items, severely limited choices and sizes of items, slashed the coupon policy and think the public will put up with this new policy. On top of that the staff is discourteous. This anti customer change in their remodeled stores is a poor business model. Somebody thinks the public will be loyal. Boy are they wrong

Not Consumer Friendly!

I purchased a hair thickening lotion because they stopped carrying the one I used. I got it home tried it & put back.in the.car to return.By the way,.the top cap did not fit propy. I forgot about it but yesterday I stopped into return it at the Nanuel store . I did not know they had a 90 day return policy. I remembered the announcements in the stores that said you could return any merchandise that was not wanted . Unfortunately, it was the 91 days. I would have been fine with store.credit since I have spent a lot of money in these stores. However, I've spent my last dollar at Harmon Face Value since they are no.longer consumer friendly.With the pandemic & the resulting upheaval in our everyday life, it would have been reasonable to offer an exchange or store credit.THIS COMPANY NO LONGER VALUES ITS CUSTOMERS! BUY ON LINE FROM ANOTHER SOURCE!

this company is a scam i ordered products and havent recevied them yet I tried calling number on site and it is to bed bath and beyond they seem to know nothing about my order and no information on when it will be delivered you call and put on hold forever and when you finally get a hold of someone they no nothing about your order please dont waste your money

I ordered several bottles of Bain de Soleil Gelee. My package arrived all neatly packaged. I received all of the wrong product. They substituted it without my approval. Never will I order from them again. On hold for several hours.
