10kg of bran flakes bulk order, arrived fairly quickly but expected to be in a large sealed bag fit for purpose but they were inside a blue plastic bag that was unsealed. No best before date etc, exposed to the air and some had leaked into the delivery box. Attempted to contact for a refund had no reply in four days so far. Even dry dog food comes in better packaging. Expected better for a premium (organic) product.
Items arrived on 15/07. All items best before dates were 16/07. Only one days best before. Items were cream cheese which on arrival were warm and all inedible. This is my first purchase from the company so I am very disappointed. I have contacted them but am awaiting a reply 🤞
The gel pack used in my chilled order was tiny and was warm to the touch on arrival...as were all the items. Two items had mould on them- no wonder what with one very small gel pack for 8 items (!) in this weather. It's a food safety issue and they don't care. All other businesses I use pack their chilled items really well. I complained about the problem twice in 2 weeks (for 2 orders). I received a refund for the first order and no reply to my second complaint. The courier they use - DHL - has been delivering several orders a day late too. I don't recommend ordering chilled or frozen items as you will be disappointed if they arrive warm to the touch and aren't safe to eat.
I don't really like buying online as want to keep our local shops, but I have been using Healthy Supplies for some years now as my health food shop is expensive . Superb quality excellent prices and a bonus to support a family company too :))
