I purchased one Heatoor unit and, once I recieved it, was quickly disenchanted with the quality of the product and the misleading information in the associated marketing . In an attempt to return the unit, all attempts to contact the company via their website failed so I reviewed them on Trustpilot with a 1 star rating.
Surprisingly, someone contacted me from Heatoor and told me they would either let me return it or give me a 50% refund. I told them I didn't want to pay exhorbitant return fees and after a day or two they contacted me and said they would allow me to keep the unit and refund me 75% of the original price. I agreed to this and surprisingly the money was added to my mastercard!
I'm changing my rating from a 1 star to a 3 star, not because of the quality of the unit but, because of their effort to make things right. I honestly believe they wanted to make things right with me. They were very apologetic and remorseful for giving me a bad purchase experience and for that I am grateful, hence the 3 star rating.
I would not recommend buying the unit but if you decide to do so, beware that the prices mentioned on their website are in US dollars and that the unit does not have a CSA rating. It also comes with, what I think to be, a short (4' long) undersized (looks to be a 16ga or less) power cord (6' and 14ga would seem to be more reasonable). If Heatoor could correct these shortcomings (i.e. marketing discrepancies, CSA qualification and power cord issues) they would have a decent heater. Good Luck Heatoor.

Misleading advertised price. I ended up being charged double the price I agreed to. Product arrived, very cheap feel, no safety standard approval stamps. I am out $250 CDN and fear using this product. I put it back in the box.
At 8.15pm on 2026/02/07 I ordered a heater from this company. I ordered ONE heater and NONE of the extras they offered. The charge was to be C$87.50 (plus tax). This was supposedly 75% off!On 2026/02/08 at 7.30am I checked my credit card to find I had been charged US$241.87! The reason I have given specific times is that they say they allow you to cancel within 12 hours. I, immediately, called their Customer Support line to cancel but don't yet know!
This company tricks you into buying one heater and then offers a big discount for two but then they disguise the fact you’re actually buying four and you’re paying double the price of two at original price! I cancelled the order within five minutes after buying and they said “they are unable to cancel the order”. I would not deal with this company and recommend everyone stay away from them!
Ordered 1 unit and charged for three. I sent multiple emails requesting refund or cancel, but end up receiving 3 units that I dont want 30 days after ordering. Can't get any sense of how to contact them, and even how to get my refund. Very bad experience with this product/company.
Refused to cancel the order within their cancellation policy, and delayed in sending a shipping confirmation. Make impossible claims about the product's ability to heat a 500+ sq ft room. And the cooling capabilities are with a fan not any cooling ability.
