Review Time
I signed up for the 7-Day trial, canceled it when I was supposed to. And realized I would still be in charge for 4 months after I canceled. Went to my bank disputing the charges.
I am absolutely furious and deeply upset.
On 20th of February, $29.99 was taken from my account without my permission for a full-month subscription. I never signed up for any recurring subscription — I only used the service once to look up one single photo. That’s it.
It is very concerning that they may have sent you a receipt with regards to your one time purchase, however, they do not emphasize the monthly subscription following after the 7-day period ends.
I immediately emailed them demanding a refund, but they informed that the money was under a no refund policy. I’ve also reported the unauthorised charge to my bank and am still waiting for their response. In the meantime, I’ve had to lock my debit card out of fear they’ll keep taking more money even cancelling the said subscription.
Please — do NOT use this service unless you’re wiling to have a hidden monthly subscription charged to your account without your knowledge or consent.
The same story as for those before me. The site advertises via FB to search for unidentified phone numbers or email addresses that contact you. Did 2 searches in late January for which they charged under AU$1 each, then charged twice(!) monthly subscription fee of AU$39.99 - subscription, which I hadn't been made aware of or authorized. Deducted via PayPal. The initial one-off search, for what one pays upfront, converts to a subscription without one knowing it! My bank is trying to retrieve the payments, failing that I will try PayPal. My card had to be cancelled to stop further unauthorized deductions.
If I could give zero I would. I was looking up a phone number from a call I received and agreed to pay 50p. After loads of scanning it found nothing about the number anyway. Then I've just received a PayPal notification that they are going to take £29.99. Saying I signed up for a subscription which I did NOT. I've cancelled it and will try and cancel the PayPal request, but it says I can't until the money is taken from my card!! Which is a bit stupid on PayPal's behalf. AVOID, AVOID, AND AVVVVOOOIIIDDD!!
Is a scam. They took 29£ from me and I really didn’t get notified nor realized I’d be added to their subscription system. I have report the website to government and my bank .
Complete scammers, I must of used their website once before but was unaware of the fact they secretly sign you up to an ongoing subscription. I was left unaware of this for several months and as a result over £300 was taken out of my account for a service I used once. That didn’t even work if I might add. After research I found out they sign you up automatically after agreeing to the terms of service with no confirmation or email receipt. I will be attempting a refund but hold not a lot of hope since their help system is run by AI bots.
This is a significant scam; I was secretly charged a pre-authorization of 30 euros for a 1 euro reverse search deal. It's unacceptable. They took 30 euros from me, and their vague terms and conditions are designed to strip you of your rights, even though you are entitled to refunds and withdrawals in the European Union.
This is a massive scam; they secretly charged me a pre-authorization of 30 euros for a deal that was supposed to be 1 euro for a reverse search. They trick you into losing your rights with vague terms and conditions, despite your entitlement to withdrawals and refunds in the European Union.
