I have been coming to Helvetic Clinic in Budapest for several years. I had lots of remedial work done, but my main treatments were implants and new crowns. I have just had my first annual check-up post treatment. They are world class. Are they the cheapest? no - but they are the best. I have recommended them to everyone who comments on my great smile, and that happens on a weekly basis.
TOP-CLASS PROFESSIONAL SERVICE EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONSFinally, I’m coming around to writing my review. I always had issues with grinding my teeth to the extent that I was constantly with my local dentist repairing broken teeth as I could not wear a mouthguard. Over time I would be left with no teeth. I would say I’m not the best patient for the dentist due to having a reflex gag.I was recommended by a friend to contact the Irish Representative of the Helvetic Clinic.It was the best decision I’ve ever made. My journey was over six trips; I spent an enormous of time in Budapest, and I recently returned to check to ensure that all my perfect teeth were still in order and to keep exploring the wonderful City of Budapest.I was under the guidance of Dr. Grorgy Varnai. No words can comprehend how professional, highly experienced, patient, caring, and dedicated a dentist is. He was tasked with changing my bite and restoring the bottom and top of my teeth. The outcome is beyond belief, and I still don’t have to wear a mouthguard, but this time I have no issues with my teeth. I return to Dr. Varnai for checkups as I don’t let any other dentist at my teeth.I also like to thank the Irish Representative for organizing all my documentation, facilitating issues, and being knowledgeable and professional during my treatment. Stephan, my coordinator in Budapest, was assigned to me for my six trips. He was so knowledgeable and friendly that I Couldn’t ask for a better coordinator who made the treatment relaxing and comforting.From the minute you walk into the Clinic, you are put at ease; the receptionists are friendly and welcoming; if there is a change to your appointment, they would call to notify you in advance. They say it’s a joint effort, but I couldn’t thank Helvetic enough. I’d advise any patient seeking dentistry work, whether, in Ireland or Europe, the only place for you is Helvetic Clinic.Another plus is the location of the Clinic, the first night accommodation for free, various plans to suit your budget, free x-ray, and, depending on the extent of the cost of your treatment, money towards your flight. Having chosen Helvetic in Budapest for at least 2 teeth implants I was ultimately regretful having selected these based on seemingly good reviews. I was subjected to pain like I had never experienced in a dentist. Following 3 teeth removal, I even had an additional injection into my upper pallet AFTER the tooth had been removed. This was a 10/10 pain level. I screamed. One screwed in implant that I already had, was wrenched out ‘back and forth’ until the hole was enlarged for it to simply pull out. No unscrewing! Then I underwent a ‘cleaning’ process that was so aggressive, removed a filling causing tooth ache. When it came to my bill, I was quoted €50 for each tooth removal yet the implant that was wrenched came to €130, and for a process that was exactly the same as my 2 front teeth removal. The quote going forward to have 3 teeth implants then increased by over €2000. I wasted my time with these and in hindsight, I would never consider using these. A terrible and traumatic experience. And I’ve no idea why there are not more poor reviews.
I've just returned from my second visit at Helvetic Clinic. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough. I needed 3 dental implants which were going to cost a fortune here in Ireland. I did my maths and research before booking with the Irish representative Amanda and the whole process has been effortless.I'm a VERY nervous dental patient and all fears were put to rest on arrival. All patient co-ordinators have excellent english so nothing is lost in translation. I travelled alone for my first visit where my treatment plan was explained clearly and although 2 of the implants were more expensive than I expected as the CT showed bone density was not sufficient for the shorter implants. I went ahead with their recommendation and the implant surgery went ahead that afternoon with a very kind Dr. Balazs Bendes with minimal pain and surprisingly fast recovery! I stayed in the 12 Revay Hotel onsite - so convenient to recover, very central and great value with very decent breakfast included. My flight was deducted from the bill and my first night at 12 Revay was also free. The hotel is very central and within walking distance of all attractions, restaurants and shopping.I returned last week after 5 months recommended healing. We stayed again at 12 Revay (this time I brought a friend on my recommendation, who also had some work done!) Impressions were done first morning, this time with the lovely Dr. Lili Farkas and 4 days later 3 crowns and an inlay were ready and fitted and a nightguard done within hours. I also had a fantastic cleaning called Guided Biofilm Therapy - a much gentler new cleaning therapy than traditional cleaning.Transfers (included) were effortless both to and from the airport and they arranged an earlier pick up than planned due to the Popes visit to Budapest on the Friday.I cannot recommend Helvetic more highly - All staff are so respectful and kind from Nora, Stephen, all reception / desk staff, patient co-ordinators, dental assistants, and hygienists and I particularly love the fact they do not push any unneccessary treatment and there's also no judgement for neglecting your teeth or oral hygiene!!I will certainly be returning for any further treatment in future.Thanks to you all at Helvetic!
I am just back after my fourth and final visit to Helvetic Clinics Budapest. I had researched dentists abroad and was impressed with the reviews from Helvetic Clinics and also that they pick you up at the airport and drop you back again for your return flight. My first appointment was in August 2022 when I met with my dentist and a plan was drawn up for me. There was no pressure on me to have all the work done as per the plan and this was discussed in detail with me, whatever I was happy with. My accommodation was in the 12 Revay Hotel in which the Clinic is based, and this was an added bonus. The hotel room was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent. The staff at the front desk of the Clinic were amazing, always a smile and a greeting. Nora, the lead front desk representative, was always on hand to answer any questions. I had some work done during my first visit e.g. root canal in order to prepare my teeth for the work ahead. I made three further visits to Helvetic Clinics and I cannot emphasise enough the care and attention to detail afforded me by my Dentist, Dr. Daria who strives for perfection and her assistant Bianca. I had a lot of work done and the work on my teeth was finished on the 31/3/2023. Today I feel so confident, I can smile and show my teeth unlike before. I would highly recommend Helvetic Clinics for their professionalism, nothing is too much. There is no obligation on you to have work done, it is up to yourself but you won't be sorry.
Following my visit in this clinic on 05/12/22, I would like to share my feelings and disappointment regarding my experience with their staff.I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I received, in fact, after consultation with the dentist, the latter established the following diagnosis:1. As a result of the bruxism, the upper teeth are suffering from occlusion and general wear requiring the placement of crowns, all the upper teeth and all the lower ones; the time frame being too short for the realization of this work, it will be necessary to schedule another stay.2. In the meantime, during this 1st visit, the dentist fixes a scaling and the extraction of a wisdom tooth (which does not bother in any way) but being diagnosed as having a cavity, a surgical extraction is necessary!Without mentioning the exorbitant amount of the estimate for the 10k crowns, there is also a diagnosis for a wisdom tooth to be extracted which does not seem justified to me. My dentist, consulted in France a few weeks before, never mentioned this! So I decided to get a second opinion from another clinic in Budapest.Without too much surprise, but with a great disappointment and a total loss of my confidence in this establishment, this 2nd opinion confirmed my doubts that a surgical extraction of the wisdom tooth under the pretext of a cavity was simply invented, playing on the ignorance of the patient and imposing a service in the end useless, is perfectly shameful for an establishment as prestigious as they pretend to be! Is it the directive of the management of this clinic to impose on the staff to maximize profits? I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the excessive profitability sought by this clinic is far from being generalized in Budapest. Their competitors do not consider their patients as cash cows from which it is absolutely necessary to get the maximum!The estimate for the installation of crowns is almost twice as expensive as the competition, but that is not the problem, their rates reflect their pretended "top of the range" clinic, but it is especially that in no case variants, options, were proposed to me with the aim of reducing the amount of the estimate ... this shows that the business and profitability are more important than the real needs of the patient!
I don't know the clinic but and article claims that they have been caught on Skype bying fake reviews in Parkistan and that their ISO logo is fake. Also there is no proof that they live up to the Swiss standards.Google Helvetic Clinics Scandal
I was with diagnosed advanced periodontal disease and was given a prognosis of a full set of dentures...my absolute nightmareafter much research I found Helvetic Clinic in BudapestWent for an estimate [ which was very thorough and without pressure]As a result I have a beautiful smile which cost a lot less than it would have in Ireland , where I was told I could not get Implants .The staff are all incredible, personal professional compassionate [ I was terribly nervous and probably difficult patient]Hand on my Heart, I cannot recommend Helvetic Clinic enough. The people who have needed treatment and asked about my experience have ALL gone and been really happy . It is such a personal professional experience, I am really proud to recommend it
