The service was timely and the packaging was exceptional. It required about thirty minutes more to cook than recommended. Additionally, cooking it breast side down initially caused the skin to tear when we flipped it. We covered it with foil to prevent drying out for the rest of the cooking time. Despite these minor issues, the meat was delicious.
I prepare our Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve to enjoy leftovers on Christmas Day, and we just finished our festive meal. I ordered the bird and was initially hesitant about roasting it due to concerns about toughness. However, I’m so glad I followed the instructions and roasted it as suggested! It was large, beautiful, and moist. The flavor was divine with the cider and mustard cream sauce I made, and there was minimal excess fat. I believe this is due to the quality of the rearing and the bird being game hung. Delivery went smoothly, and it was left in my designated safe spot. Thank you for this wonderful bird; it made our Christmas special! My discerning son-in-law and food-loving son both enjoyed it, making it a hit overall. This was the best Christmas meal we've had in years with no hassle—just follow the instructions and pop it in the oven!

Today's chicken delivery was incredibly disappointing! The courier left the box on the doorstep without ringing the doorbell or notifying us in any way! This seems to be a common issue now—just abandon the package and leave! We had no clue when the bird was delivered. Upon reaching out to the company, I only received the standard response of ‘I can only apologize and pass that on to the courier’—essentially shifting the responsibility! Since you chose this courier service, please take some accountability and offer compensation for such poor service! Due to this terrible experience, we will seek alternatives in the future!
Everything was perfect! I had some concerns when ordering a Christmas bird for delivery on December 23rd, given the busy season, but at 8 am on the 23rd, the courier delivered the package. It arrived well-packaged and insulated with eco-friendly materials. Along with it were cooking guidelines, recipes, and a packet of herbs. Communication from the company has been outstanding.
