I would go as far as to say that this bracelet is invaluable to my health regime, being able to see what has had an effect on my blood pressure during the day, and how it reacts at night while I’m asleep is an absolute game changer, also of course as yo wear it 24 hours a day you get a true picture which is not skewed by the dreaded sound of the cuff on your arm being inflated 👍 thoroughly recommend itBarrie Crampton
Excellent service. Fast receipt from ordering. However, vastly overpricedLucy- the review was for a replacement strap not the system itself. £29 for a strap is & remains overpriced. Please amend your reply to reflect my edit of my review.
I always felt that I probably had elevated blood pressure but that the crazy high readings professionals got were inaccurate. Now I have the evidence. I wish the device would measure BP during sports as well and offer the ability to label it. Instead it just stops and resumes when the activity has stopped. Great for anyone who needs to keep an eye on their BP but without the hassle of cuff measurements.
I am fed up with the faf of the initialising process.I am fed up of removing the bracelet every time I shower or wash my hands. I am fed up with the waiting time for the results to appear. The NHS doctors at my surgery do not accept the readings and insist that I use their approved BP equipment. I will not recommend the Aktiia BP Monitoring system until the bracelet is made waterproof.
There are too often problems with the initialization process, too many readings are missing (if conditions are not PERFECT, it won’t give values), correctness… it is good to give general indications but i doubt it’s fully accurate, but i find that valuable enough. The issues during initialization are what trouble me the most and the company’s belief that all the problems are on the users side
