Great service, but had to return the product, because what you are not made aware of is if you have certain medical conditions as I do AF this item is not for you, which is a shame as most people with the conditions listed would be the people buying this item
Bought it but never used it. Instructions are not quite clear. They show in the ad only small watch like device, but in reality there are 2 devices, the other one is bulky. There is no clear explanation how to start and how both devices are connected, should I use them together or separately etc.... So waiting when hopefully my Apple watch will be able to measure blood pressure.
I really like the aktiia, it give me a reliable daily blood pressure, but the data could be more.When I have a good day of blood pressure measurements is like 6/7 for the ads saying me 24/7 I think is not good.I bought the new version which says would be more accurate but is kind the same.
This is a fantastic blood pressure monitor. It is so easy to use, accurate and produces very similar results to an official 24 bp monitor device. It produces a very comprehensive daily/weekly/monthly downloadable report which can be emailed to my GP for medication monitoring purposes. The device is on a small bracelet which can be worn with any outfit.
I have been using this to monitor my own blood pressure for some time now. It seems generally accurate, at least when I can be bothered to double-check the values. But it has off days where it doesn't seem to record well. And the band can be a bit irritating at times. Overall, I am pleased, and I recomend it to my patients who are keen to monitor their own blood pressure (a minority). What really needs to happen though is for the technology to be incorporated into a smartwatch. If you have blood pressure, pulse, O2 sats, an ECG capability and motion tracker, then we will really start to get somewhere. Blood sugars would be good too.
My daughter bought my bracelet for my birthday, 18 months ago, I have used it to monitor bought my blood pressure and heart rate. In that time, with certain lifestyle changes, I have monitored and modified my tablets and supplement intake, I have been able to reduce my tablets to 1 from originally taking 6 types. The bracelet allowed to to see in real time how my BP was changing. Importantly, the size of the bracelet and silicon strap are small enough to not be in the way at any time. I bought myself a new strap last month, however at £40 for a bit of rubber was very much over the top, but it comes in a nice blue and my old one was looking tired. I give this product 5 stars as it’s passed the test of time and still going strong
