Great experience overall. Yande is the perfect tour guide. We truly appreaciate the flexibility within the pick up time and location to visit. We asked to be back in time and skip some place out of out interest and Yande came up with other Ubud spot to explore.
I highly recommend Krisda! He took me and my partner on a day tour visiting numerous sites/activities. All I can say is, absolutely phenomenal. The service he provided and the kind heartedness made this trip wonderful and one to remember. Thank you Krisda!
We were 5 days with Wayan that we hired through Hire Bali Driver. Everything was perfect since the booking from France earlier this year to the trip itself. Wayan was expecting us at the airport, drove us during these days, gave a lot of information regarding history, culture, religion, traditions...Our 3 young children felt very confident with him...even were sometimes alone with him during a couple of minutes and he took care of them. Sure we will share HBD details to our friends going to Bali !
It was a fantastic day spent with the family, Yande is super helpful, and as he lives in the region he knows all the corners and alternative paths to escape the traffic, as well as has a lot of information about all the places where we had the pleasure of walking: waterfalls, artisans who make magnificent works of traditional art in wood, coffee plantations, rice plantation terraces and to end the day in a big way, the Monkey Forest!We highly recommend the Yande guide, thanks for all kindness.
Our tour began 7:30 am Kiut, our driver, picked us up on time and we started a great day visiting many of the wonders of Ubud. We began in the waterfall, although there are many steps, the walk is worth it! Kiut was very attentive always helping us taking pictures and giving us information about each place we visited. Then we went to the Monkey Forest, Kiut guided us through, the macaques are really fun to watch and the forest is beautiful. Then we drove to the market, where with a bit of haggle managed to buy a few souvenirs to bring back home. The coffee plantation was next, the visit is short but the welcome drinks, a selection of 14 coffees and teas is excellent. The Ubud temple was our next stop, where Kiut gave us a great explanation of the rituals, and intricacies of his religion, he is very knowledgeable and definitely made the experience much more interesting, to understand how and why things are done gave us great appreciation for the places we visited. After that, we went to have lunch, delicious, generous portions and a great view. The last stop was the rice plantation, beautiful views! And once again Kiut, with endless patience took our pictures and explained how everything works, and the importance of rice in the life in Bali. It is definitely a tour worth doing and if you are lucky to have Kiut as your guide, well … you already won!
Did a one day excursion across Ubud with my wife for our honeymoon. Yande was our driver and was absolutely phenomenal. He shared with us not only the spots on the itinerary but was also available to answer lots of questions we had. Excellent service!
We had the absolute BEST experience with Wayan—hands down the highlight of our entire 2 weeks in Bali. From the moment we connected, he was so kind, genuine, and communicative. Even though we booked last minute, everything was seamless and extremely reasonable.We initially chose our own itinerary, but Wayan suggested even better places—stunning, peaceful spots away from the usual tourist crowds. Every stop was meaningful, and his knowledge of Balinese culture, family, spirituality, community, and customs was literally incredible. We learned SO much and walked away with a deep appreciation for this beautiful island and its people.There truly are no words to express what today meant to us. It was everything we hoped for and so much more. Wayan, you are an amazing representation of Bali and its spirit. From the moment we booked this service to the day after we left, they have been one of the most professional, organized and polite services I've ever used. We have an 18 month old and a big group and they organized different vehicles for different days, depending on our luggage situation. Communication and payment was easy and it was very affordable, especially considering the level of service we received.The best thing about this experience and service, though, was our driver Agus. Of all the drivers I've used (and I've used a TON in 30+ countries) Agus was my favorite. He went above and beyond in every possible way. Always on time, incredibly kind, and fun to be around. He took great care of us and our newborn in a way that's hard to even put in words. Thanks Agus and we hope to see you again!
