Disappointing Quality and Support

I have been buying clothes from the company for about 5 years, and my earlier purchases were quite solid, showing some signs of wear but holding up well. Recently, however, the quality of their clothing and customer support has been awful. My clothes now develop fuzzies after just one or two wears. Items arrive with stains and loose threads, and the dye patterns are very inconsistent, with some areas noticeably lighter than others. Customer service is practically non-existent; if you have a simple question, they will likely not respond. It seems they are more focused on mass production for trends rather than caring for their customers. While the prices can be appealing during sales, I would suggest researching and opting for higher quality clothing from a company that values quality.

Terrible quality and customer service

I have been purchasing clothes from HolyClothing for about 5 years now and my earlier purchases are pretty solid, they show signs of wear but have held up pretty well. More recently the quality of their clothing along with their customer support has been terrible. My clothes get fuzzies after one or two wears now. Clothes arrive with stains and loose threads. There is highly inconsistent dying patterns, for example there will be areas on the same piece that have areas that are more lighter than others. Customer service is non-existent. If you reach out for a simple question they will never respond. They do not care about their customers and just care about mass production for the new Ren Faire obsession. The cost of these pieces are nice when they are running sales but honestly I would recommend doing more research and buying more high quality clothes from a company that cares about quality.

Delievery fraud

The tracking says, that the package has been delivered even though it was not. I made a complaint about it and suggested refund, they suggested 60% or reshipment. I gave them a chance, chose reshipment and waited 3weeks. The story repeated. Now I'm fighting for the refund. My package has been insured. I lost time and money.

Not sure why the reviews are so bad

I've had zero problem with Holy Clothing - sure, processing times are long, but once it ships, it gets to me in about a week. Clothes do need to be washed before wearing as they can smell a little funny, but you should do that with new clothes anyways. I don't necessarily trust the color fastness, so I do wash them in a laundry bag on gentle to minimize the chances of the color bleeding. But I love everything I've gotten (especially the Amelia dresses) & if you have patience after ordering, I recommend giving them a try. My only complaint is you never know if their "limited" color drops really are only for that short time or if they become a standard color (until they're suddently not).

Dress not as advertised

I ordered a silver dress and when it arrived it was light blue, when I emailed to query it and ask for a refund they said that was the right colour despite not being anything like the photo advertising it. They said I could refund it but I would have to pay to ship it back to them and the refund didn't include my shipping so by that point I would be £30 out of pocket

Damp, smelly, and low quality

Shipping took over a month, and the item that arrived was damp and smelly in the bag. I ordered the smallest petite size and it was sized like a large. The look and quality of the garment was nothing like the preview photos.

Will take forever to ship

Not sure about quality of garments as I still haven't received mine. If you have a deadline to receive your garments, I would just look elsewhere. They take a very, very long time to ship and customer service will not give you any status updates on your order. They will just keep parroting the 3-4 weeks to ship line - even if you have passed that window. Now needing to emergency order off Amazon for my first ren faire due to their slow shipping times.

Fine, but terrible replacements/refunds

The clothing is fine in quality, but if you have the wrong size it’s impossible to get a replacement or a refund.They produce in New Delhi, but their refund center is in the USA. HolyClothing can’t generate valide return slips for the EU, meaning you’re stuck with the item or you have to generate a return slip yourself for more than €50, rendering this useless.

Layering Midnight Lavender? Thanks, I hate it

Ordered two midnight lavender items and they are very much two different colours. At $150 a dress you expect a level of consistency not only within the items but with what’s shown on their website.Emailed them, got the usual “soz it’s the way the dye sits on the material” speech. When I asked about the best item to swap that has consistency in the colour for I’ve had no reply and the freight associated with straight up returning is too expensive (that’s not their fault). They have all these posts on social media showing their items layered but the truth is you really don’t know what you’re going to get.

DO NOT BUY FROM HOLY CLOTHING!!!I ordered 2 dresses for a trip. After 2 weeks of not receiving them I contacted their customer service and was told it would be at least 6 weeks before receiving them. I then cancelled the order and was told that I could only get store credit and not a refund. I stated I did not want store credit, just a refund. I received no answer to this. Upon getting back from my trip, I was notified that it had been shipped via FedEx. There was no package at my house. I contacted FedEx and they had just dropped it off in the steps outside of my front porch along a public sidewalk. Obviously someone took it. I notified Holy Clothing and they said they do not require a signature for delivery because it “costs them too much”. I again requested a refund and they refused. I contacted FedEx and they will not refund because a signature was not required per Holy Clothing. I am now out $225 for the dresses and the cost I had paid to replace them before the trip.
