We had a really good experience with Home Amagerbro, and especially with Eske. Communication was clear and fast, and it was obvious that he actually listened to what mattered to us. We sold two apartments and felt well guided throughout the process without being pushed in any direction. Everything was handled professionally, efficiently, and with attention to detail. The whole process felt calm and well managed. We would definitely recommend Home and Eske.

In my sincere opinion

In my sincere opinion, this company operates dishonestly. The agent explicitly told me that I would receive my full deposit if the apartment was returned in good condition. I did exactly that, yet I received less than half of my deposit back.They invented unjustified charges for painting, polishing, and additional heating costs, none of which were legitimate. This felt like a deliberate attempt to exploit me.As an expat, I never expected to be treated this way in Denmark. There appears to be a pattern where rental agencies assume foreigners are naïve or unfamiliar with their rights.I am now seeking legal assistance and awaiting the return of the remaining amount owed to me. Based on my experience, I strongly caution other especially expats against trusting verbal assurances from this agency. Great that Trump is imposing tariffs, the whole country is built on big monopolies including scamming rental agencies. Happy that I moved to wealthy Switzerland…
