We purchased a house through Home Værløse. I would strongly advise anyone considering a similar purchase to hire an external consultant to look into any potential issues before making a purchase. In our case, we were naive and believed everything we were told by the salesman (Thomas). Unfortunately, as soon as we took over the house, which was 6+ months delayed, we discovered that it was full of defects. To make matters worse, the company went bankrupt shortly after we moved in. It seems that this was known by many in the industry. We are now dealing with the consequences of buying a house from a failed company, advised by a salesperson who either didn’t know the bad financials of the building company, or just didn’t care. It’s important to remember that these people are not working for you, they are working for their commission, so it’s essential to do your due diligence or pay someone to do it for you.
