Review Time
My brother was so excited to start his tree trimmimg service with Angie and Home advisor to generate his leads. WRONG!!!! He had to leave town initially and put a pause on his lead generator. He was away on family business for 45 days. He returned to find out Angie (or an eager sales rep) had unpaused his account. They sent him hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of leads when his account was on pause. He had not logged in one time during that 45 days. When he did log in he found a BILL for 1700.00 !!!! for leads they had sent him. They can see on their end that the messaged leads were never viewed or even opened. Yet they refused to work with him unless he settled the account which meant give them $1700.00 for unused , unviewed leads that he has NOT asked for, contrarily he HAD paused his lead setrvice but some leads sales slammer turned his account back on (unpaused it) to get a fat commision check for the slammed, unused leads. Angie need to be sued!!! This was heartbraking because my brother had just beat Cancer (Maglignant Melenoma) and was starting again, full of excitement of working outside, doing what he loves and his first shot at his New Beginning was Angie totally punking him and trying to slam him into paying fraudulent lead generations. Shame on you Angie
Bathroom RenovationI was highly satisfied with the design submitted by Emad Barsoum, head of EB Construction & Design. The workers who stripped the bathroom cleaned up carefully & hauled everything away. It took several weeks for reconstruction to begin & the process lagged between phases for weeks at a time. The result was very beautiful, so worth the often exasperating wait. I recommend this company for the design talent of Emad Barsoum & for adhering to the estimated figure given. I suggest that anyone who undertakes a complete renovation such as this one be present to see everything which is to be installed & to make sure that everything will fit correctly in the space. My bathroom is very small. The back of one of the custom cabinets had to be cut down so that the door could be opened without hitting the toilet. The cabinets are lovely. Pablo, who did all the tiling, flooring & other interior work, was beyond excellent.
I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with their unethical practices regarding contract renewals. I have had multiple negative experiences with this platform and feel the need to share my thoughts and warn other contractors about the potential risks. No quality leads and unethical renewal process.
All of the 5 star reviews on this company are mistakes for the quality work of the contractors. Trustpilot should remove these and put them in the Angis channel. This channel should be about the experiences of the contractors. My husband is a contractor and I'm helping him with his leads. I'm seeing blatant fraud. He was told handyman leads would cost $25-30 on sign up, but all of them are coming through at $55 or more. Tell me how anyone can make a living assembling a chair- takes 30 minutes with travel and lead fee. And its' a 1 in 3 chance. It's not possible on Angis. This lead should have been $5 or $10 max. This company needs to be sued and we are joining the lawsuit. It's horrifying that they are even still in business. He really wants work and wants to do the work but he can't accept leads that he will lose money on.
I call on the community of businesses and companies that have been scammed by the company Angi LEDs to come together. We are preparing a class action lawsuit against this company that sends its members to collections if they do not pay for a poorly done and abusive service. I leave you my number 562-392-5797.
