It’s not right to charge everyone for the same lead. You all send leads out to different people whether you get the lead or not you charge and your charging the person that got the lead and still charge the other 100 you sent the same lead to sounds like and feels like you’re ripping us off. So it’s legal to charge 30 people for the same lead.
I spent $750 for their lead generating platform. The cost is $30/lead and the chance of closing is about 1 in 4. So the cost is $120 per customer and on average the lead generates $100 of gross revenue. Once you add labor and travel you add on average $70-150 per win. So winning costs $190-270 though they aren't interested in these numbers.I rate angi one notch above thumbtack. But both are questionable platforms.

This caused the move to run long, and AMS charged us for all hours. Hours were spent trying to reach someone to listen and help; nothing. An $800 estimate turned into $1691 in reality, and they held the property hostage until paid.
Unethical business practices Angie-pro leads, Home Adviser, This company reached out to me several times, informing me a live person vets their leads, to make sure that you’re not receiving, Miss leads for services, you do not provide ., and then they call you to make sure that you’re not getting misleads. They sent me leads that had nothing to do with the services I provide, they put me in a general pool. The name of my company is very specific. It says exactly what I do. This is a nonrefundable sales transaction.people on the front end selling ,when you call service support team, they explain to you that their calls are NOT vetted, by a human being/ person, that this information is not true but they are actually not vetted at all , it’s an automated system so you’ll get calls regarding multiple different services that the new potential clients are assuming you provide service for .The sales people are not concerned about the accuracy of information provided. They are just selling the service not concerned about the misinformation that they’re giving out to the new clients , the people on the backend let you know that they don’t have human beings that take the call., Vet them , then send them your way, so you will be paying for inaccurate leads , they are nonrefundable because your put in a general service pool , so they can protect themselves from having to refund your account when they provide inaccurate leads .This business is highly unethical. They have corrupt business practices based on the misinformation that they give you when you initially are called and specifically when you let them know your concerns, they tell you the exact opposite of what the results will be. I don’t appreciate being lied to. unacceptable unreasonable, and unethical to provide services with this level of dishonesty. For example, If you’re in the construction industry and you specifically install doors, you wouldn’t want people calling you about concrete work and have to pay for that lead. If you install windows you wouldn’t want people calling you for quotes about getting a roof installed. This is an example of the misleads that they’re charging customers for, and since you’re put in a general pool, it protects them from having to give you your money back for paying for these misleads The sales person will assure you that that does not happen. I spoke with the sales person for one hour, and he assured me that Angie pro Leeds does not do this to their clients that they care about their clients and they would not do that to them, but they did the exact opposite, that’s exactly what they did to me. They wasted my time my money and my investment with zero return I’m going to share this information with as many people as possible because this is not how you conduct business , if i gave my clients dishonest information about the service i provide , i would be out of business .
