The worse company ever Don’t trust Angi leads people they are all stealing money from customers sending fake clients and whe you call them they act like they don’t knw obviously but also they do t give you the money back..Don’t trust them because you are going to lose your money and they won’t do anything to help youI started 1 years ago and have to pause my accounts bc of that problem When I was with home advisor that never happened so be careful this is not a trust company
They sell both leads and have another "separate" department called Angi Ads....which is fine. However when you have the angi Ad app it interferes with the leads. Now it appears they are trying to combine them but the problem is when you shut off your leads they dont shut off. We have attempted to shut our leads off twice now and we are still getting leads. They're just awful....they do this to make it difficult when they keep sending leads when theyre shut off. Keep Ads separate from LEADS. Its that simple. Sickening
If you are a business owner, STAY AWAY!!! Terrible leads, terrible customer service, zero accountability for their horrendously flawed system. I wouldn't use Angi moving forward even if they were the ones paying me. The only place this company will "LEAD" you to, is less money in the bank. Pure Garbage.
I am a business owner and recently used Angis to get new customers. Several weeks in my bill is over 6000 . I only received and accepted 3 leads and won those three jobs. The supervisor told me she couldnt do anything for me. Because it shows I received all the leads and if I wanted to I needed to contact every customer to prove I didnt except the job. They can see by my conversation ls with customers i didnt accept or win the jobs. Don't use them
This is a scam! I caution any small business owner from taking this bait. They promise to send you leads to improve your chances of getting more work, but they don't even have to send you leads that are related to what your company does. They also refuse to give you back any of the money you pay in even if it is unused. If a customer finds your number and calls you directly then it isn't "valid" because they can't track the call times. They currently have $800 of mine that they refuse to return and said I can only use to get new leads in the future and even if I close my account they do not refund the money that's in my account, they just keep it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. As a masonry business we got the following leads: cabinetry, concrete footers, moving furniture, outdoor wood stove installation, pilot lights being out, etc. Learn from my mistakes and don't be scammed out of your hard earned money.
Worst company ever! It really is too bad because this company could make money hand over fist actually providing the service they claim to. Unfortunately, potential customers "AKA Leads" are tricked into clicking on fauls pages that sign them up as a so called 'Lead" that we as contractors are charged anywhere from $50-$100.00. In most cases unsuspecting home owners are just looking for some general information; like possible cost or "how long" a project will take. Instead, these people are put on a list as a "qualified leads" and we are wasting our time because the "Lead" does not even know they have been put into the system and are pissed off for getting multiple calls that they did not solicit Also, there is a so-called process for getting credit for a bad lead; however, the company only gives you like 4 or 5 boxes you can check as a possible reason for a refund on a bad lead. Like" wrong zip code"; it is just foolish and set up to make sure you do not get credit. I would be lucky to get 1 legitimate lead from every 30 requests I get; costing me $900.00 to $3000.00 for these fake leads. I hope somebody starts a class action lawsuit against these guys; these people are corrupt and are simply out for your hard-earned money.
Firstcallpainting reglazed my bathtub and did a wonderful superb job. Jordan you're very talented. When I came home and saw the finished job he did, I was speechless. It looked like a brand-new bathroom. He was clean, not messy. I definitely would recommend this company 100%.
To be honest absolutely terrible! TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO YELP AND GOOGLE ADS. I am a small and new business trying to get exposure and job and I feel robbed. I invested a lot of money into angis leads and its terrible. I am a handyman and maybe its because of my category but almost every single one of my leads are things i do not do or a handyman doesn't offer. I just got a lead, as a handyman to demolish a 500sqft building on commercial property. i get it their system isn't perfect but to be this bad is actually sad and made me loose quite a bit of money that by the way they never asked me to charge in the beginning.
I had a very negative experience with Angi Leads that I feel compelled to share.I was contacted by one of their representatives about a package priced at $287.99 per year, plus additional charges for leads. The representative was courteous and assured me that I could cancel the service at any time for a full refund if I wasn’t satisfied. Unfortunately, this promise turned out to be completely false.Just three days into the service, I decided to cancel due to my dissatisfaction. When I called, I was told that while the service would be canceled, the annual fee was non-refundable contradicting the initial assurances I received. Even worse, the cancellation was never processed, leaving my account active. As a result, I continued to be charged for leads regardless of whether I used them.As a landscaping business owner, I quickly realized that the cost per lead was disproportionate to the value I could derive from them. For small jobs worth $50–$80, being charged $21–$60 per lead (even for leads I didn't use) meant I was effectively working for free after accounting for expenses like equipment and fuel.When I attempted to resolve the issue with another call, I was met with further misinformation and dismissive behavior. The original representative who made the misleading promise is now unreachable. Additionally, I encountered unprofessional and condescending attitudes from their personnel, which only added to my frustration.Based on my experience, I strongly advise anyone considering Angi Leads to proceed with caution. The promises made during the sales process do not align with their actual service and customer support practices.
