This company uses misleading tactics and constant harassment to get your business/money… They give leads to 3-4 contractors at once, which forces us to compete against each other but they also charge every contractor $100-$300 per lead doesn’t matter if you win the job or not. Most of the leads I have received can’t afford it or go with the cheapest option. Let’s stop supporting people or companies that make it a struggle for us to become successful. This is absolutely the wrong company to use for jobs. YOU WILL GO BROKE. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY FROM YOU.
Angi Leads has been one of the worst experiences we've had with a service provider. Not only do they refuse to work with newer companies, but they also failed to honor our request for a refund after their service completely failed to deliver any meaningful results. When we tried to resolve the issue, they deflected responsibility and offered no viable solutions. This company is exploiting small businesses by charging outrageous fees for low-quality leads and providing zero accountability. Their aggressive sales tactics, followed by abysmal customer service, show they are more interested in profit than supporting small business owners.Angi Leads should be fined and reported to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) for their unethical practices. They are taking advantage of hardworking entrepreneurs and offering nothing in return. Save your money and avoid this scam of a company at all costs!
Contracted for snow removal on driveway was quoted price, and said pro would be available following day. Called Angi next morning and advised service not needed Sun had already removed snow so cancel request. Found out later they had charged my account for the service. Called requested refund for charges, advised could only refund 50% since over 30 days. Supervisor not available. will complain to BBB
As a contractor who’s used Angi leads in the past I can tell you it’s a huge waste of time. I spent $1000 of my previous companies money to get leads through Angi and it only resulted in my phone getting blown up with emails, text messages, notifications and phone calls that lead absolutely nowhere and eventually resulted in me losing my job. Since then I’ve started my own company and will never use Angi leads or home advisor because of my past experience but they continue to harass me almost daily even after requesting to be removed from their call list. Don’t fall for the scam, the leads are fake, they were sued in Colorado, save your money and do your own promoting and please.STOP CALLING ME
As a contractor they sell the customers information to way too many contractors between their multiple platforms. Platforms are Angi Leads, Angi Adds, Homeadvisor, and they'll sell the same lead through all their platforms making the customer get inundated with phone calls. So good luck getting ahold of the customer. Terrible service with high cancelation fee!
I’m a solo interior designer running a one-person studio, and my experience with Angi Leads has been incredibly disappointing. I decided to give their lead generation service a try, hoping it would help grow my business. It quickly became clear that this platform is not suited for someone like me who doesn’t have the capacity to be glued to the phone, responding to leads within 10-15 minutes.I initially put my leads on pause and later called to close my account entirely. Instead of honoring my request, the representative convinced me to keep my account on hold, reassuring me I’d be notified before leads started coming in again. Trusting this, I agreed. What happened next was both frustrating and costly. I never received a notification when my account was reactivated, and suddenly, I learned I had been sent a lead hours earlier. By the time I reached out to the customer, it was too late, and I was charged for the lead. This charge was insignificant for Angi, but for my small business, every dollar matters.I requested a refund, but they flatly refused. I even disputed the charge with my bank, but the dispute was denied. I am beyond dissatisfied with how Angi handled this. I specifically told them their platform wasn’t working for me and wanted to terminate my account. Instead, I was pressured to stay on, and when their system failed to notify me as promised, I was unfairly penalized for it.Angi hides behind the excuse that their “system” doesn’t allow for refunds, which feels like a convenient way to avoid taking responsibility. There should absolutely be a way to issue small refunds in situations like this, but they chose not to. This entire experience has left me feeling misled, undervalued, and taken advantage of.I strongly advise other small businesses, especially those without the capacity to respond instantly, to avoid Angi Leads. Their lack of flexibility and accountability makes it clear they care more about squeezing every dollar out of customers than providing real support or value. Avoid them at all costs.
There were some minor issues. The consultant provided the contact information, but for some reason, my calls were not getting through. Additionally, I received a notification that the link had expired. It seems that I must have made a mistake.I was able to get a callback from one contractor who came to inspect the work and was able to complete it the following day. So, this process ended on a positive note.Overall, I appreciate using this service because I don't know where else to turn for recommendations on my home projects. I appreciate receiving prompt responses from professionals
I recently had Jon Saywer paint my house, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! He was punctual, dependable, and extremely professional throughout the entire process. His pricing was very fair and competitive, especially considering the quality of his work. Not only did he do an excellent job with the painting itself, but he also took great care in cleaning up, which I very much appreciated. On top of that, he was friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend Jon to anyone looking for a skilled and reliable painter!
It started out nice but when you get a certain number of bad leads leads they will stop refunding the bad ones. I'm talking about leads where people don't even pick up their phone. some hang up on you. What was bad for me too was when you pause your leads if you need a break from Angie, when they turned back on at the worst times and I often lost the leads when they were unpaused. I wish they would ask if you wanted to resume you lead because I didn't want to unless I wanted to.
