This is my first time ordering from Home Fuels Direct but it was an extremely competitive price and good delivery window so I’ll wait and see whether that is accurate. Their website is really easy to use and as long as everything else pans out, we’ll definitely be ordering from them again. Thank you.

Used this company on two occasions.
First time - Apparent computer problem delayed oil 1 week after the original date. No apologies, had to chase them multiple time.

Second time - Again ordered two weeks in advance, come towards the due date, no update and they told me to refer to confirmation. Absolutely shocking customer service, all through email no one on hand to speak with.

The worst service I have ever had. NO communication, No reason for non delivery , kept me waiting 2.5 weeks before they said they couldn't deliver , and when they finally offered delivery it was another week , so from order date of 6th fEB TO 28TH fEB. I couldn't wait any longer as I had run out of fuel. I had to pay the higher price with someone else as oil had gone up per litre, I had to pay another £250 for an emergency deliver. I requested compensation for being out of pocket. they never came back to me either way .net result it cost me another £400 . I cancelled the order so I guess home fuels made my above loss as extra profit. Have used before but I will NEVER use again and I will inform other users in the village to stay well clear. shocking experience from beginning to end .They should be banned from trading. And when I asked for my money back they said it would be 3-5 working days when they happily took the money out on the same day I first ordered.

Please check all the reviews before you order. Many positive 5 stars are AI generated. This company is clearly in trouble. If you are needing oil delivered in the next 6 weeks, this is not the company for you. Don't be tricked into leaving a positive review to receive the additive, this is simply a marketing trick to overcome the negative reviews, and you won't receive it anyway!! Heating your family and your mental health is worth more than the few pounds you would eventually save. They wont be getting away with this practice for much longer. If you still proceed with the order... Good luck and god speed...you will need it!!

Appalling service they have taken my money over 2.5 weeks ago. No oil, cannot contact them. I am disabled as is my son I need a refund before can even order from another company. Going to contact the police this is fraud.

Frustrating experience with delivery and communication

I placed and paid for my order on 30-12, expecting delivery on 15th Jan. However, there was no delivery and no email explaining the delay. After following up, I was told that a baby tanker was required, which had always been provided before, but apparently one was unavailable in my area. This seems untrue, as I saw my regular driver nearby just two days before the scheduled delivery. A refund has been promised, but I'm skeptical. I cannot recommend this service due to their poor communication. They were reliable in the past, but this experience has lost them a customer.

Extremely disappointing experience.

If it were possible to give no stars, I would. My order was said to be scheduled at the local depot, with an estimated delivery between January 13th and January 14th. However, the oil never arrived, and the tracking status remains as 'scheduling in progress.' Reaching the support team is nearly impossible; when calling, I was directed to their website for assistance, leaving no option for live communication. The payment has been made, the order accepted, and that concludes my experience with the service. I cannot recommend this service.
