Poor to non existent after care service. The lock of bi-fold doors broke after 3 years, they promised to send replacement part, it didn’t arrive, emailed- no reply, can not get to speak directly to person responsible, left 2 messages still no contact. They are only interested in your 7k, after that you are on your own- be warned
During a full renovation in late-2019, we engaged HomeHub to supply and install all windows, as well as the front entrance and 4M sliding doors. Once our deposit was received, they have disappointed us every step of the way.Surveys were difficult to schedule - and, in the end, their measurements were wrong! Part of the initial installation was temporary, as some of the windows had cracked in transit. Due to poor fit of the manufactured windows, they sawed into the existing cement window sills which are now severely cracked and require masonry repair. Not only did their installation efforts result in damage, but we enlisted the help of a separate contractor to properly seal all doors and windows. Now, after less than a year, all four sash windows are visibly warped. We shared photos and requested repair in July. It wasn't until September that a technician visited and informed us they need to be replaced. And HomeHub tells us that replacements will not be available until December, at the earliest. To recap: installed in October, issue reported in July, issue inspected in September, replacement of defective product? Maybe December. To be fair, we think the rear sliding doors are nice. But, the locks are rubbish (unbelievably difficult to manage) and HomeHub have yet to repair this misalignment. Also, we paid extra for additional pressings, which have not been installed. When asked for an update last month, HomeHub said the fitter was on annual leave and would call us directly. Six weeks later, we're still waiting. There's no sense of urgency, and zero sense of ownership. They did express regret that our experience has not been perfect. However, in this instance, the regret belongs is ours. We paid HomeHub a lot of money to fit out our "dream" home. We do have windows. But, our overall experience has been characterised by careless installation of defective products, after which the seller displayed no urgency and surprisingly little interest in ensuring that reasonable customers received either appropriate resolution or even minimal courtesy in response to communication.
I’m not all satisfied with Home Hub. We bought a front door and back door from them last November. Since then we have had after sales engineers out to fix SEVEN different issues with the products and installation. One being the Front door Ultion lock falling off in the middle of Christmas!!!! And the Back door handle being fitted inside-out (screw on outside offering easy way in)The annoying thing is since they are neither manufacturers nor fitters, they just keep passing blame onto either. Not satisfied as all Homehub!!!
Amazing! We are a building company that uses home hub year round, their range of products suits all budgets, their showroom has everything you need to see and the staff go over and above to help out. Once an order is placed you will be given a date for supply and fit if required and in 5 years they have not failed us yet. I would highly recommend all aspects of this company including their fitting service, all staff are clean tidy and considerate, from start to finish an easy and pain free experience.
Great doors, my builder had included fitting in his quote, they didn’t do a great job and our relationship broke down. Then I needed them, fixing a little due to a the poor install, Home hub refused to come and take a look to re-pack them for me, left a bad taste, I was punished. I’m just a guy who brought a £5.5k door with zero after care.
I have used Homehub over several orders throughout our entire home - slowly changing from Brown to White windows as we refurbished but with the added advantage of Triple Glazing and Trickle feeds. I still have some French doors and a Front door to do so am hoping they can help me there too! I have to say they look smart in white and are very well built. My old builder said Triple Glazing is a waste of added money but our experience has been that old builders are out of touch since they have made a significant difference over our old double glazed Everest units as the house is so much warmer and retains it heat. They also have made the house quieter since they reduce sound absorption. We installed the first units ourselves but then took advantage of their low cost smooth highly professioanl install teams. Can't praise them enough. Its almost a shame I'm coming to the end and we've saved thousands over the the established over-priced so called brands. You get what you pay for of course but having installed them i have studied their quality. 10/10 A*****
