My dad no longer needed his policy and decided to cancel. This was done immediately and the customer service we received was friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for more, thank you.
I block one number, they start using another. Phone up stating the warranty on my washing machine has expired. When I ask which one they are referring to and how long I have had it, they throw out wild guesses and never get it right. They know my name, address and phone number. Problem is, the washing machine was bought when I was at a different address with a different phone number and was out of warranty years before I changed them. They have not had this information (or any information) from the company I bought the machine from. Total breach of GDPR.Just wild stabs in the dark to try and get me to cough up for a warranty that, judging by the reviews, is worthless anyway. If their accounts at companies house are anything to go by, they could barely afford to buy a washing machine for themselves or have enough people working for them to move one.Edit: I am well aware there are several companies in the UK called Homesure but there is only one in Brighton offering appliance warranties, where all the calls are coming from. Also - 'we do not call non-existing customers.'. But you employ a tele sales manager called Martin. And have done for 10 years. This company is not registered with the Financial Conduct Authority, which by law you must be to offer warranties. They are operating illegally and a report has been filed with the FCA.
I was present recording a call between you and my 70 year old father of yous telling him he's'been Paying' for your services for years to which he kept telling you to cancel it multiple times, the man on the phone said 'well we'll still send you a letter out then you can wish to cancel' the letter had came today stating the price breakdown and when you will be taking it out although my father said for yous to cancel it multiple times. He has been on hold for over 2 and a half hours which I can prove cancel his subscription NOW as I believe I have enough of a case to take to trading standards and further that you have been ignoring a senile man's requests and also ignoring his calls trying to resolve this. His 'plan number' is 12085FMJ if any money leaves his account after I have sent this email in plenty due time I will be contacting the bank for fraud and giving them the evidence of my father saying to cancel it multiple times and the evidence that you are ignoring his calls for hours. It will also be going to trading standards. Get it sorted - Jordan.
While under contract, for a number of years, our washing machine would not drain fully. On claiming a callout we were told it did cover, what was recognised by them, of a lack of maintenence to drain as instructions which we had done. However we read on two occasions similar issues had been serviced.I am only able to offer a gustimate of the date as it was only a phone conversation.I look forward to hearing from them.
I’ve been using Homesure for a few years. I have only had to call them out once for my Bosch washing machine. They organised everything and got the problem sorted out quickly. I think their quotes are reasonable and they might even negotiate a deal! Anyone I have spoken to has been professional and very pleasant and not the slightest pushy.
I have only given this company one star because I couldn’t comment until a star rating was chosen and there is no minus star. Last November I received a renewal notice, costing £99.99 for insurance for my washing machine. Suitably furious I rang and had the argument that I didn’t want this, I had never wanted it and I wanted to be removed from their database. I received a confirmation that this had been done. Fast forward to this morning when I received a notification that they would be collecting my direct debit for insurance for my washing machine and now a fridge freezer which I don’t have My fridge, which I love, is 22 years old and my freezer is around 10. To the best of my knowledge I haven’t bought another washing machine to replace the one I got the disputed bill for in November. The arrogance of their reps is unbelievable and they probably have extra training on how to deal with highly irate people who won’t tolerate scammers, because that is exactly what they are. I’m 82 but fortunately I’m well capable of dealing with these thieves but far too many aren’t.
If ever this company calls -AVOID at all costs they are at best devious but some could consider them to be fraudulent.I am Power of Attorney to a 90 year old widow and they somehow, when she had a new Cooker & Fridge contacted her to persuade her that she needed a breakdown plan. How did they get this information. They were so convincing that she apparently might have exposed her bank card details (she already has full cover on her household insurance). They took £240 on the basis this was a Triennial Agreement but even before the 3 years expired they took payments of £99.99 and £159. Having reported it again to the Bank who informed me that after I raised the matter with Homesure they have again tried to take additional payments which thankfully the Bank stopped. The Fraud department are again engaged and are being extremely helpful in getting her money back.Don't go through what I am going through ensure you AVOID THIS COMPANY.I have contacted them and they have avoided sending me a response.
