This was my first purchase from Hotel Chocolat and it was everything I was expecting. The dark chocolate ginger puddles had a lot of ginger taste just how we like it. The Saint Lucian dark chocolate battons, are perfect for when you want a little chocolate kick in the day time and it is a very smooth tasting chocolate. All in all, everything I ordered was spot on. Ordered and paid next day delivery for a box of chocolates for a relative. Only just arrived ( the computer tells me ).As I live approx 300 miles away, this seemed the ideal way to get a gift to him timeously.....Failed to happen - and he is now out - so I cannot verify delivery with him!Good job that you do not deliver funeral flowers....My contract is with Hotel Chocolat - for YOUR sakes you need to tackle Royal Mail about this - they are impacting your reputation....Item ordered on 09.05.25 - delivered on 12.05.25.
Poppy served me and was so friendly, helpful and full of energy, even though it was almost the end of a very warm day at the shop. The ice cream was delicious, but the lovely staff make shopping there extra special. Always have a good experience at the Harrogate store.
