Called in to the Harrogate shop cafe to try out the new banoffee hot chocolate. Wow. Simply perfection in a mug!Poppy was so cheerful & enthusiastic about their product range and pure ingredients. I got a hazelnut choc chip shortbread to go with it. What a paring! My new addictions 😋
Sadly this purchasing experience was frustrating. I don't need numerous emails saying we've got it it's on its way instead of just one message informing me it's arrived at my local branch.Due to misleading info I took an unnecessary trip. Best I just buy directly from the shop in future.
We visited the Harrogate store, partly knowing what we wanted (velvetiser hot chocolate) but also looking for a gift. Rebecca there was fantastic. When we couldn’t find what we were looking for she helpfully found it for us. When we were dithering about what to get as a gift she highlighted the best sellers, give us a taster sample ( dizzy praline which I can highly recommend) and accessed my VIP account which I couldn’t log into. She was extremely helpful and friendly. I pleasurable experience from beginning to end.
For many years I have been a customer with Hotel Chocolat. Never have have had any problems with ordering, delivery, and the chocolates. It has always been faultless. The young lady, I think her name was Megan, was brilliant, she even helped me negotiate the website, so patient and helpful. Took my order all sorted, all I had to do was sit back and relax as I have always done.Till you got involved with Amazon . The order was specifically made for the chocolates to be delivered on the 15th , But Amazon delivered the on the 10th , Now they will likely sit outside the door, I don't even know which country my friend is in at this moment in time.I have never had any problems with Hotel Chocolat it has always been a pleasure to be a customer and the friends who get the chocolates have always been so happy with them. Why on earth they got mixed up with Amazon is beyond me.Thank you Megan for all your help with the website and helping me with the order, It was a pleasure chatting to you.
Such a lovely visit to Hotel Chocolat on Albert St Nottingham. Very helpful staff who suggested best options to spend my birthday voucher! Great offers available and the 10 shortbread biscuits for £10 was an offer I could not resist!! Treated myself to the delicious mango and raspberry ice cream sundae as well which was perfect for the hot sunny day. I was made welcome and left to make my choices. Thank you!
Had the sundae for the first time ever in the Nottingham store. Rebecca was super helpful and told us all about the sundae as it was our first time trying it. Tasted amazing, loved the sauce and the billionaires chocolate on the top. The jersey ice cream was great, never tried it before but would certainly try it again. Really enjoyed the little crunch chocolate balls half way down the sundae too. Thank you Rebecca!
