Review Time
I was told to use Hub financial to organise my annuity by standard life. They made errors on the initial form causing delays. I was given choice of fixed guaranteed annuity from Aviva which I selected. Following further major delays and errors by HUB I lost the fixed guaranteed sum and was given a lower annuity. repeatedly said don't worry will be compensated, have NOT been compensated, have been fighting over a year now, have been to financial ombudsman and HUB are now refusing the financial ombudsman decision that I have agreed too. Dreadful service and company.
The pros & cons of the process was explained very clearly, everyone who was involved with the process was very helpful & kept in touch until the process was completed.I would recommend HUB Financial Solutions & their personal if you are deciding to investigate Equity Release

Excellent and outstanding service from the Financial Advisor, Steve Harris, who was highly efficient, professional, considerate and sensitive to my individual situation. He explained everything in detailed but easy to understand terms and answered every question I had to ask. Steve took time to chase up this matter and keep it on track and kept me fully informed at all stages. I felt very much like an individual client to Steve Harris and not just a case to process as he was genuinely interested in assisting me and finding the best product to suit my needs. Four stars given only because of an administrative delay due to a backlog at head office which Steve did his best to chase. Steve Harris himself gets five stars from me for service.
For various reasons I had to take equity release to pay my existing Mortgage and Andy Chadwick was the Financial advisor who was allocated to us. We had a number of online meetings with Andy all of them done with professionalism and great care was taken to ensure we fully understood the equity release options, we opted for a life time mortgage which has now completed. We could have not asked for a better advisor and cannot thank him enough for his guidance. I would recommend Hub Financial Services if any one is thinking of taking this option.
