I find the web site really easy to use and I can check back on either what has happened on bids I have place or what I have coming up and I get real time emails that alert me to changes in my bid status of lots I am interested in. I have been with i-bidder for many years and trust them. Recently I had an experience that was a first. I had trouble contacting an auction house to arrange delivery of my winning Bids. I emailed i-Bidder and received a reply and after supplying the key information to James he sorted everything out for me. James kept in frequent contact and updated me regularly. The auction house contacted me and my goods are on their way. Thank you James!
Excellent customer service. CYRIL was attentive and knowledgable Most helpful and rang promptly. Ipointed out how unscrupulous auctions like Cambridge and Swift asset were bleeding customers dry with high commision and then an outrageous admin charge of about £800 on each sale. READ TERMS VERY CAREFULLY DO NOT DEAL WITH ABOVE MENTIONED READ REVIEWS
I bidder themselves are fine ive had no problem used them 4 times now amdnrecieved everything I won. Delivery is separate from them as they use various company's. One being DHL who delivered me a sofa (one man) who left it on the road outside house as he had no help however I bidder as a company are fine to use
I have used i-bidder.com for a long time and as such on reading some of the reviews, I can see that users were not fully aware of what the platform does and how it works. Think of it as a platform that allows small businesses to sell online without having to handle a website until they are ready. So complaints about pricing are not down to the platform but down to the user who did not read the terms and conditions of the individual auction house agreement when they bid. Many a time I have seen a bargain only to see large hammer fees or no delivery. However, an area where I thought i-bidder.com might be weak is if there is an issue with an individual auction house. This has now happened to me. The fact that they will not support a user on their platform when an auction house has not delivered goods, and that auction house can/will blacklist a users account affecting their standing on the platform is quite frankly shocking. I would probably say don't use Supreme Auctions anymore, I was previously complimentary of them, but there is a change in their operation which makes them appear a little cut throat, and obviously this is something I-bidder.com cannot deal with, as I am sure that some of the terms that this auction house now uses may be breaking some consumer laws, even if they are part of the agreement before bidding. I will be contacting my bank to initiate a chargeback request for my non delivered goods.
