I placed an order in Switzerland about three weeks ago, and it still hasn't arrived. My inquiries for updates went unanswered, and I haven’t received a refund. Despite my follow-up emails, I received no responses. While I understand that mistakes occur, neglecting customers for this long is unprofessional.
I love the brand's clothing and am a frequent buyer, outfitting my entire family. However, I am quite frustrated with the new loyalty program. I used to receive gift certificates at certain spending thresholds, which was fantastic for larger purchases. Now, we only get 20% off certificates that can't be combined with other discounts, leaving high-volume customers with minimal benefits. This is very disappointing, and I am now looking at other wool brands for alternatives.

I am generally satisfied with the brand. However, I am not pleased with the rise in non-wool products that don't justify the higher price points. The 100% wool lounge pants were fantastic, but the current local version doesn’t fit well and is priced the same. I will focus on their merino-based items.
I placed an order worth nearly $1,000, but the shipment was delayed. When it finally arrived, I received the wrong items—women’s instead of men’s clothing. After returning them, I waited for a refund, but none was issued. Customer support informed me the refund would take two weeks, even though the legal deadline had passed. Eventually, my case was closed without a refund, forcing me to file a chargeback with my bank to get my money back.
My experience has been somewhat mixed. I returned a pair of briefs for boxers and am still waiting for the boxers. However, I regularly buy briefs as gifts for my son-in-law, who appreciates them. My decision to choose briefs for my other son-in-law was a mistake as I expanded my gift-giving.
As a long-time loyal customer, most of my wardrobe is from this brand. I've relied on them for years due to the performance of merino wool in my active lifestyle. However, my latest hoodie purchase was disappointing; the zipper felt cheap, and it was significantly lighter than previous versions. I hope the brand maintains the quality that built its reputation, as I would gladly pay more for the quality I expect.

Since 1995, icebreaker has looked to nature to create natural, high-performing outdoor clothing as an alternative to synthetic-based apparel. Working with what nature provides and adapting as nature does, we enable our consumers to join a movement towards a more natural way of living by taking unnecessary plastic out of performance apparel.
Made with natural merino wool, our clothing proves time and time again how incredible nature is. Merino wool provides the qualities and benefits we all expect from performance apparel, and more. It’s a resilient fibre, making it long-lasting. It has temperature regulation properties, so it keeps you cool and provides warmth when you need it. It’s naturally odour-resistant, so you can wear it for longer. It’s breathable, which helps to manage sweat, and it’s incredibly soft – you have to feel it to believe it!
We’ve adapted our merino wool into a series of innovations aimed at helping you perform naturally better, whatever your activity. ZoneKnit™ is made for high-impact activity, keeping you cool as you increase the intensity. Cool-Lite™ combines Plant-based TENCEL™ and merino wool for breathability on summer hikes. MerinoLoft™ provides natural warmth, insulating from the outside-in on those wintery hikes. RealFleece™ is an authentic brushed fibre fleece made for comfort and warmth on chilly days. While Shell+ helps to keep you naturally protected from high wind and light rain, without feeling clingy or clammy.
We sustainably source our merino wool from New Zealand where we’ve built deep, long-lasting relationships with 70 merino growers. We offer mutually beneficial 10-year supply contracts, a unique model in the industry, to help to support a better future for our growers, icebreaker merino wool, and our planet.
