Absolutely the worst dating site now with 90% of the profiles being fake or AI generated. Match does NOTHING to filter out these. I am a paid diamond subscriber and it is an absolute waste of time and money. It used to be a good site.....not anymore. The same pic and profile will come to you in different names and MAtch doesn't care to put in an algorithm in place to filter out such junk.....let alone filter out scammers and AI profiles.HORRIBLE.

Out of the blue, I got an unsolicited email from someone I like on Match, asking me how I was doing, so I was delighted and tried to write back.

Match pointed out that I'd need to pay €10 to re-start my account, so I did, and sent messages to this woman.

I did not hear back at the time, so I looked on Trustpilot out of interest, and wish I hadn't bothered sending them any money! It appears to be a total scam, relying on suckers like myself who used to believe in honesty in my dealings with the rest of "humanity".

All the advice was, "AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE"!

Edit: Some of the issues I raised were answered by the site. Maybe the site wasn't working for some time, as I could not log in this morning, but they didn't say. I finally got a reply, and I'll be delighted if it has a positive result.

I am now waiting to see if anything transpires.

I am reaching out due to a critical security issue with my account that happened early this morning. My account was compromised, and the unauthorized user changed both the email and password, leaving me completely locked out. I have attempted to contact support multiple times today and received an initial message indicating that someone would get back to me, but I have yet to receive any further communication. Here’s what I urgently require: 1. Immediate restoration and secure recovery of my account, or confirmation that it has been deactivated to prevent further access.
2. Cancellation of all automatic renewals related to my subscription.
3. A full refund of the $60 charged for the 3-month subscription.
4. Permanent deletion of the compromised account to avoid any further unauthorized actions. Please be aware: Should any fees arise due to auto-renewal by the unauthorized user, I will dispute these charges with my bank and take necessary measures. If I do not hear back, I will also publicly share my experience to alert others and contact relevant consumer protection organizations, as this situation highlights significant concerns regarding account security and support response.

Fraudulent Activities on the Platform

I canceled my subscription shortly after signing up, yet they continue to charge me. Attempting to reach customer care has been futile; it's just an automated system with no real support. I keep receiving the same automated replies. Now, I have to change my bank account to stop the recurring payments. This site is a scam; avoid providing any banking information.

Not Worth the Investment

This service is not worth the money. While I acknowledge my standards, the quality of matches is very low. I received numerous profile views daily, but few men initiated contact. When I did reach out, responses were either absent or odd. It seems there are many fake profiles. While it might work for some, for me it was a waste of both time and money.

Account Blocked Without Explanation

My account was blocked shortly after I started, and I received no explanation. There seems to be no way to communicate with anyone for resolution! The customer service is terrible; it feels like they just want to take my money.
