I wish I could give zero stars, but I have to settle for one. The VISA processing is incredibly slow and inefficient, and the only response I get is to just wait. The website states that approval takes about 72 hours, yet I've been waiting over 15 days for my daughter's e-VISA. We missed our flight and split the family because of this delay. It's astonishing that during such a major event, so many people were processed quickly, yet my daughter's application remains unresolved. I thought there wouldn't be a manpower issue in India, especially with its reputation for IT expertise. It's shocking how a straightforward task can take so long, and there's no accountability.

Disappointed with the slow processing

I’m forced to give 1 star because there’s no option for zero. I’m appalled by the slow and ineffective visa process, and the worst part is that no one is available to assist; the only response I receive is to just wait. The website claims that approval takes around 72 hours, yet I've been waiting for over 15 days for my daughter's e-VISA. We had to miss our flight and split the family because someone in the process is failing to do their job. The recent Mahakumbh event hosted 450 million people, which made headlines worldwide. I'm left wondering how so many visas were approved then, while my daughter’s application is still in limbo. I thought there were no manpower issues in India and that they were experts in IT! I’m truly shocked that such a straightforward task can take so long without any accountability.

Frustrating Experience With Payment

This website and service are among the worst I've ever encountered. Like others, I faced similar issues, but my first payment went missing. Despite providing evidence from my bank, the support team refused to acknowledge it, forcing me to pay again. Even after that, I had to wait around a day for the system to process my application. Is the government not embarrassed enough to address these problems?

Very Unsatisfactory Service

I regret giving even one star; it simply isn't deserved! The site crashes, takes your money, and then rejects your application, forcing you to start over. The entire process can take hours with numerous unnecessary questions. I can't find the right words to express my frustration with this service. If it weren't necessary, I would avoid visiting altogether!

Nightmare Experience

For a government-operated site, this experience is nothing short of appalling. The site crashes constantly, and the systems seem poorly managed. The entry card process is just as frustrating. Come on, the government needs to fix this!

A Disappointing Experience

This website is embarrassingly bad. I can't even begin to describe how awful this has been. I made the mistake of paying for my flights before applying for the visa. After spending around 15 hours inputting and correcting information, the site rejected my payment and now won't accept the confirmation number I was given. Everyone says this is typical, so maybe I should reconsider my trip.

Terrible Online Application

If I could rate this zero, I would. This is the worst online application I've ever encountered. After spending hours over several days, I still haven't completed it. The site keeps timing out and doesn't save my information, forcing me to re-enter everything. I doubt I'll ever return to India if I can't even finish this form in time.

Incompetent Application Process

This official site is the most incompetent I've ever dealt with. I've spent hours getting bumped off and re-entering data for four applications. The process is incredibly stressful. I learned that if you copy and paste the application ID, it shows up as a '1' instead of an 'I.' I've never faced such stress completing official documents online. Good luck to anyone else trying to fill this out; you'll need to know how to convert a photo to JPEG and reduce its size, which is a real headache.
