Have used InstantScripts twice now and have found them to be very helpful and professional. So handy when you can't get in to see your doctor for days and you need help now with some medication. Will use them again if I find myself in the same situation.
Really quick to speak to a Dr. The only issue i had was that the script I received was not for a whole bottle if my medication. It was 40 less tablets with the pharmacist having to dispense into another container. They even said it was werid.
When trying to book in on mobile using the instant scripts app, the Medicare position number you’ve just filled in does not get transferred in the form submission, rendering it complete waste of time and impossible to complete the transaction.
That’s what the 1 star rating is all about.
The actual service, pretty good actually, if you can get booked in. Desktop is best way to navigate through their UI.
Abrupt Doctor. Made me feel like some sort of cynical doctor shopping addict. There’s not much recreational fun to be derived from an antidepressant, is there? Prescribed a fraction of a monthly script and effectively told me not to come back. I won’t.
I have turned to this service multiple times for prescriptions and blood tests when my regular doctor was not available, and I have never encountered a negative experience. Having dealt with chronic asthma for 70 years, I recently faced a lung infection while on holiday. The doctor I consulted, after understanding my symptoms and medication needs, agreed with my diagnosis and provided the prescriptions promptly. I was able to recover and enjoy my vacation. Today, I reviewed my blood test results with another doctor (my regular doctor is unavailable for three weeks), who was reassuring and offered helpful questions to consider for my next appointment. I am very grateful to have this alternative medical service when needed.
I find it quite confusing as different doctors give varying recommendations. When I needed an instant prescription for my inhaler, I was scolded for not consulting my regular healthcare provider. Isn't that the purpose of this service? Additionally, I keep getting text reminders about my prescription running low. After my last experience, I'm very hesitant to use this service again.
