Notice all the reviews are about installation in customer service. Notice that none of the reviews are about compliancy when it comes time to get the device removed. There are zero reviews on Google. The more accurate reviews are on Reddit. I personally documented them lying and changing their stories and the towns of which violations are occur. I made three phone calls in 20 minutes and got three different answers. After that I started recording my conversations with them. I had even documented that they have changed the time of which the violations have occurred. After sending them documentation that my car was in the body shop during the time they gave me of when the violation occurred. I had to submit a form to them to send to the state document in the car was in the Body shop strangely enough the time changed to be after the work was completed. Just because the work completed does not mean that I picked up the car. In fact, the battery was dead on my car and could not be started. I logged to phone calls on the day of the violation to let them know what was going on with my car and the device. When you call customer service ask them about any specific notes about any specific call to them. They cannot tell you. Once you're compliance the review is done. You will get an email from them and it will say the compliance department with a different number. That number only route you to customer service if you ask to speak to the compliance department they will tell you you can not speak to them. You can only email them and a response does not happen within 3 days but at 3 days. They will remove any negative post. Contacting the law firm that started a lawsuit 2 years ago.
You only have issues when it's time to get device removed.They will have violations to extend the lease contract.
Violation on 06/04/25. Car in body shop. I have documentation from body shop my car was not started until after 5pm as they had to replace the battery. I recorded the phone call on 02/25/26. Rep argued car was successfully started at 4:31pm. I called at 4:55pm battery dead and syncing issue. I called again at 5:21pm after car was started. The final calibrations cover a 120 clear history. Final 3rd Calibration was 01/30/26. First calibration on 10/24/25 was not listed. Second final as 12/9/25. COMPLIANT. After my phone call on 02/25/06 with rep, I logged into my account and engaged with live rep chat. He confirmed the 2 errors, power interruption and syncing error and that i had called noted 4:59pm. I took screenshots. I then asked specifically about the tampering/camera obstruction and he stated “this is not a violation”. The camera was upside down and i turned right side up. The camera got turned upside down when the technicians had to manually roll my car when the battery died. Due to this false violation, Intoxalock has extended my lease for 4 months. Per the state i should have had the device remove on 02/08/26 until this false information was reported. This needs to be fixed and my device removed and any money charged after 02/08/26 refunded. I’ve submitted all documentation to the state of Tennessee. This is FRAUD.

I have an intoxalock employee on the phone that has been very rude and childish and refuses to transfer me to the supervisor.. now he is playing games and out me on hold and keeps checking back to see if im still there.. its now been 46 mins and still on that line.. about 30 minutes ago I called from a different number and requested a manger right away he said I was approved yet I am still waiting on 2 different phones going on almost 1 hour.. intoxalock has been a nightmare with absolute horrible customer service mos too the time.. theyre just rude
UPDATE: Still on hold on both phones 1hr 14mins both phones just got rerouted back to customer service and both are supposedly being transfered again to a manager but they didn't even give me time to talk. So holding yet again

Please do not use this service. They will schedule you at an installer with some agent ( mine was Jojo Ferreira ) and the scam will begin there. They will quote you some weekly rate then put you on hold for over 30 minutes desperately trying to get you the best deal they can find $500 and then graciously make you an appointment. You show up, pay for installation, watch the video and then they call and tell you the part has not arrived. Remember they made you the appointment a week in advance, collected your money and now want to hold your car for another 3 days. Save yourself time and money. Don’t USE INTOXALOCK and watch out for JOJO the scammer!

I had no idea what I was doing and he made it so easy. He even got me the insurance that I needed which saved me the time bcuz I didn't know what I was looking for. So all in all he was my hero yesterday I was already so anxious and my nerves were on edge and this experience just put me at ease!

She went above and beyond to quickly resolve a miscommunication between me and another agent, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage.

Shelly was professional, understanding, and genuinely committed to helping me every step of the way. While I hope I never have to refer anyone to Intoxalock, if I do, I would absolutely direct them straight to Shelly. Her level of service made all the difference, and I’m very grateful for her support.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE in PA!!!!! They lied from day 1 about price. Add charges for THEIR device failures (multiple times) Between their extra charges & the extra charges from the service center it's about $500 more than they said & it's only 6 of 12 months. PA PLEASE USE ANY OTHER COMPANY

Last time I went to get my intoxalock calibrated there was an unexpected maintenance update. Something that should’ve been a routine 15 minute calibration turned into 3 hours of my time wasted, uber fees to get to army training, and rudeness from intoxalock staff.

The lady that did my calibrations was very kind and helpful the entire time to me while dealing with the people at intoxalock. There had been no warning that an update was taking place nor a solution for them to get my device calibrated so I could drive my car. The people at intoxalock were rude and unhelpful to my maintenance technician. They repeatedly hung up on her and transferred her while offering no solutions to getting my car operational.

I would avoid intoxalock at all costs if you don’t want your time and wasted by a company that doesn’t even have the common courtesy to help you after they screw you over.
