Such an unreal experience! Our New Zealand tour guide Tommy was so efficient and organised, making the trip super fun and relaxing. Couldn’t recommend intro travel more, you meet the best people in the coolest places for affordable prices and with an enthusiastic tour guide who shows genuine care and kindness towards every tour member I couldn’t ask for anything more :)
Tommy is the best tour guide he’s so organised and responds in 2 seconds with any questions you have. genuinely cares about all the people on his tour and takes the time to get to know each one of us on a friendship level. would love to go on so many more intro travel trips but no tour guide can match to tommy. all the activities were amazing and his knowledge on everything is insane. he deserves a pay rise and a private hotel in queenstown 🩷🙏
I had joined the 10-day Cambodia tour and it was absolutely amazing. Our tour leader, Logan, was fantastic — super energetic, knowledgeable, and he really made the whole experience what it was. We visited all the main attractions, but also explored quieter areas away from the crowds. Everything was organised seamlessly, and Logan’s great relationships with the local tour guides created such a fun and positive atmosphere. We also took part in environmental activities like a beach clean and a river litter pick-up. Overall, it was an incredible trip and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Cambodia.
I have just finished the 10 day Cambodian tour and it was incredible! I had Logan as my guide and he was amazing throughout the entire trip. The itinerary had a fantastic mix of activities, but it wasn't too rushed and allowed for downtime almost every day. It was a blast and I met the most amazing people!
Logan was amazing at making sure every person was looked after, and also brought so much energy and positive vibes. He went above and beyond and the entire trip went smoothly. 10/10 recommend!
Intro Travel is my favourite tour company and I cannot recommend them enough. I have been on seven tours with them and they have all been so incredibly amazing! It is certainly not my last trip either. All the tour leaders I’ve had have been amazing and I couldn’t ask for a better experience! Might even become a tour leader myself in a couple years! 💗
Just finished the South Island New Zealand tour, had the best time. Lauren always made everyone was happy and knew what we were doing. We are staying for an extra week now and she gave us lots of recommendations including booking us on to a few activities we wanted to complete before going home. This trip was truly remarkable! The itinerary, destinations, and time allocated to each location were just right! The group leader was exceptional and very knowledgeable, making it effortless for us to join additional activities as he handled everything. The atmosphere he fostered and his efforts to engage everyone through fun games and activities were outstanding. I will certainly return to this destination!
I had a deeply disappointing experience with the service. I participated in the east coast tour starting from Brisbane, and I was repeatedly assured over the phone (before booking) that no one would know each other. Unfortunately, this turned out to be untrue. I joined the tour group midway, while everyone else had come from another location. I felt isolated, and despite my efforts to engage, nobody would converse with me. After reading other reviews, it seems I’m not alone in this situation. There were many other issues during the tour as well—best to steer clear of this travel company!
The guide and the mix of authentic activities reflecting the culture were the highlights of my journey. He led us with sincere enthusiasm, demonstrating a commitment to ensuring a meaningful trip for all. Every detail was planned with care, aligning activities with our preferences, and he consistently prioritized our comfort and inclusion. A genuinely devoted guide who offers heartfelt tours.
I just completed a 13-day trip to Japan, and it was absolutely worth every penny and the time I spent organizing it, including securing travel insurance. The guidance on what to pack was invaluable. Planning all the activities on my own would have taken ages, and some experiences were outside my usual comfort zone, but trying new things added to the fun. Our group leader was exceptional; he was professional, approachable, and effectively managed our large group. His energy was contagious. This was my third tour, and he has been my favorite leader to date.
