Rip off . I received a confirmation email from this company stating that I would be charged over $400 a month to use their website. They are out of their mind..all I wanted to do was see if a particular document was available. No reply from customer service, I finally figured out how to delete my account.
It used to be fantastic, but now it feels like a total scam; the interface even seems crafted to steer users towards purchasing an annual plan, with only a barely noticeable option for a monthly plan. The outrageous pricing for what is essentially a digital flipbook simulator, along with the downgraded free plan offerings, is truly disappointing!
Used to be great, but now it's a complete scam; even the UI is designed to misdirect people into buying an annual plan, with a small, teeny-tiny option between monthly and annual plans. Not to mention their ridiculous pricing for just basically a flipbook simulator, downgrade of free plan offers, etc. What a shame!

RE: According to our retention policies, content on Issuu (including flipbooks) is retained for 12 months from the start of inactivity—that is, when there is no interaction with Issuu’s services or platform. After this period, the account and all associated content are permanently deleted. Please check our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement for more details. Never use this platform again.
Just realized that Issuu changed the number of page limit from 50 to 10 (Basic free plan). That means that for half a year I've been directing people to my page without realizing that my documents were not accessible. How about emailing some information about this, before making the changes.
Issuu customer service is completely unreachable. We've been trying to delete our account for weeks, and the only support they provide is a "submit a request" form. I've sent two "requests" with no answer and no action. There is no phone number, no account representative, and no email to reach them. Think twice before trying Issuu.
After using ISSUU happily for several years they decided to increase our annual subscription from $420 and took an automatic payment of $2200 without warning. Yes, you read that right, a near five-fold increase and payment taken without agreement to the increase.Extremely sharp practice that can only be dealt with in one way- immediate cancellation and a review to hopefully warn others. GET BENT ISSUU!
Used issuu for well over a decade. Service has plummeted and pricing continues to go up. The only support you get is automated bot emails that claim your issue is resolved when it clearly is not. We're moving to Publuu. Tried it. Works just as well and is WAY cheaper.
What went wrong this time? Gee how to begin. I started their unlimited plan free trial for my publication which was fine and all but then I could only afford the starter plan afterwards which I've tried downgrading to. When i cancelled the direct debit for the unlimited plan, issuu immediately took down my publication (a portfolio, whose link I have already made a qr code of and circulated around potential employers). I'm a student and I tried to use the student discount code to upgrade to starter to get it back, it says I have upgraded but my account continued to show up as a basic account (with the portoflio deleted) the next day. When i investigated this and tried upgrading to starter again from my side, this time there was no checkout window, there was no discount code section, it just immediately took money out of my account without authorisation. I have had to fight to get this money back despite having reqeusted for an immediate refund, and not only that issuu refused to refund the full amount it took from my account (£212.60), of which they only refunded (£197.45). Now this may not seem like a large amount to some, but I am only student, and it is currently the christmas holidays which means I've got presents to get. The principle simply isn't right with this company and i strongly STRONGLY suggest that anybody looking to use this platform to host their portfolio, should find somewhere else to do so, lest you bring upon yourself a wrathful headache.
