Well I live 45 miles from tameside in tameside I'd someone who I care for so with getting older and having some health issues myself I decided to apply for a property ... so I had to prove I had a connection to the area then prove I had ill health provide loads of id and more ... I then get placed in band 1 high need for re housing I apply for a bungalow online it rejects my application??? I phone to be told its a system error my app is now live couple of month later same thing ?? Then I apply for another bungalow 2 bed criteria is single or couple over 55 !! Again it rejects I phone to be told I've not sent in supporting evidence??? I say if I haven't how am I high need band 1 ??? Put me through to someone else they say you don't meet criteria ??? I contest this they say a manager will ring a manager rings next day says she will phone me next day ?? 1 week later another manager phones she says I'll ring you back tomorrow again no call rings the day after .. she says I've not got a connection to tameside I explain I have then she says I need to prove I'm a carer I say i did that 12 month ago then she says my son can't live with me ??? I never said he was living with me ??? I said stay 3 nights a week then she said I can only have a 1 bed ???? I explain the criteria says single person or couple ??? So I politely tell them to cancel my high needs application and thank them immensely for messing me around znd using excuse and lies repeatedly.... and I also explain recovering from a brain injury is more enjoyable than dealing with these people .... no wonder there is a housing crisis with these at the helm .... and how can a housing association dictate who can live with you ????? I'm sure discrimination is an issue the staff from switchboard operators to managers need a complete revamp .DO NOT WASTE TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE ..
The Company is employing extremely friendly and highly efficient members of staff.I have just experienced this today whilst dealing with Lauren Spencer. She was outstanding, in familiarising my wife and I with the functions and mechanics of renting a flat through Jigsaw Homes.Lauren made us at home immediately, with her calm and friendly efficiency, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is certainly a credit to Jigsaw Homes.
I am moving into a lovely flat from jigsaw . From start to finish the process has been handled very well ( a few little hiccups but nothing that hasnt been sorted )Massive Thanks to both Lauren Spencer and Sue for helping me throughout this process. Both very helpful and friendly ladies.Thankyou jigsaw .
You get assaulted by a neighbour with evidence to prove and they don’t do anything. Also if the neighbour in question is ex military they will just take their word for it. Now I am being accused of assault on him when in fact I am the victim as I say with proof. Also the housing when they come out will openly slag off neighbours to you , not much confidentiality is adhered to at all..and not very professional either. The victim is made to feel like the criminal. Disgusting.
I am just moving in to a zjigsaw flat now. Karen, the Jigsaw lady has been really patient with my quite complicated situation and I find working with her very easy. It is an older flat. The terms were explained clearly, and the problems of an older flat are being dealt with with more alacrity and care than I have seen any private company be willing to do. I'll comment more as we move forward.
