Review Time
I have been struggling with hormonal issues for years now, to which my primary care physician has chalked it up to, "get on birth control!" After joining Joi & speaking with a doctor there, she immediately got right to the issue & knew exactly what I needed. I have never felt so heard, seen or supported. Their customer service is top notch. It's hard enough being a woman but to work with Joi makes me feel so safe.
Customer service is nonexistent. They are basically a middleman for things that could be done through LabCorp. I scheduled an appointment with my health coach and for some reason it’s made two appointments one right after the other. I’ve been trying to cancel the duplicate since last week Thursday. It is now the following week Wednesday. I’ve called every day and left voicemails. I’ve tried getting a hold of somebody on the website’s chat feature every day as well. No response. Now I fear I’m gonna be charged $59 for their website’s error. The website is not very user-friendly. I wish I would’ve just gone to LabCorp ordered my test and had nothing to do with this company.
I've had a very positive experience with Joi and Blokes thus far. The information they provide is comprehensive, the plan they outlined was very effective, and the people I've interacted with are knowledgeable and helpful. I was a bit skeptical at first, but am happy to have used their services.
So far my experience with Joi and Blokes has been wonderful. I was able to complete labs quickly with ease. Then an appointment was immediately set up with a licensed clinician to review my labs. The clinician was so thorough, listening to my concerns, reviewing each and every biomarker in detail, explaining the results, answering my questions, and working with me on developing a treatment plan. This was way more comprehensive than my primary physician. And now my symptoms match my markers and I have a treatment in the works. My only regret is that I didn’t connect with Joi Wellness sooner! I will share an update in a few months after trying the prescription and then having labs drawn again.
I got my lab results and panicked, I sent my labs to my doctor and he did all the test joi and Blokes did and everything was normal and within range. He told me I do not need hormone therapy. I also put my results into chat gpt. Chat GPT also recommend the same things this company suggested minus the hormone therapy/supplenents bc I am within range especially after my doctors labs. Also, I took things into my own hands bc to get an appointment with joi was 3 weeks so I sent the labs to my doctor and he immediately took action. Once my appointment came around o knew what to take expect bc my doctor followed up with me before the joi appointment. I was just curious and I’m going to listen to my intuition and continue listening to my doctor and my body. This company is a bit pricey. The consultation was fast and efficient but I’m not going to pay $300 to test my cortisol etc which my doctor put in an order for and saved me some money bc I have insurance. I got my results from my doctor within 3 hrs and it came out normal. The companies biomarkers seem to be off for me, I can see why people think this is a bait and switch company. Just send your labs to your doctor before you make a purchase or subscription. Always get a second opinion. =)
I gave them 9 months. There were issues from the very beginning with prescriptions being received, but the dates in their system not aligning, resulting in weeks-long delays on refills. No matter how much correspondence was passed, or doctors visits that I had, zero changes were made. Problems kept getting worse and here I am sitting on week 4 of my prescription being delayed. I urge everyone who gave a positive review to come back and provide an update after their first few refills. I guarantee you will find what everyone on Reddit is talking about; same delay, continued apologies, broken promises, and no fix. Updated to add that I sent a cancellation email detailing everything. They responded canceling my account, per my request, but didn't even try to make it right. Didn't even ask for another chance to prove that they can do better. Just cancel, and sorry we will look into it. Didn't ask for more information, so I volunteered it, including delivery photos and emails and everything.
While the business concept behind Joi and Blokes is smart, their execution is horrible. Customer service and responsiveness is non-existent. I have reached out several times over two weeks with questions about the recommended treatment following my blood lab results and received zero response. What if my outreach was more serious? For a "healthcare" company this is not acceptable. I will NOT be moving forward with using them.
