Visiting Ram for the second time to diagnose my foot problem and he was spot on in finding the key causes and guided me the way forward. He clearly explained the pros and cons of the treatment and swiftly turned around the report. Great service at affordable prices.
I seem to have hit an age where I am getting injuries that do not resolve, which both compromises my pursuit of long distance triathlons and can cause day to day pain. But Ram has helped me overcome my injuries. I have now had three procedures with Ram (knee, hand and shoulder), and as a doctor myself I appreciate his approach and would refer to him without hesitation. His professionalism and passion for his work is immediately apparent, and this translates into a thorough assessment of the presenting issue, and a trust that if there is something to be diagnosed he will do so, as well as offer good advice as to how then to proceed. On this, of my three consultations with Ram, he identified clearly on ultrasound a tendonitis in my hand that I had acquired from swimming, which resolved after one steroid injection (over 1 year now without recurrence); was able to reassure me that on ultrasound there was no obvious major injury to my shoulder such as a tendon tear, but offered me what was an immediately effective steroid injection to the area that he thought clinically would be most appropriate given my impingement syndrome; and similarly with my knee he did not claim to have identified anything remarkable on ultrasound, and gave advice accordingly. Though I hope not to have to need Ram’s services, it is reassuring to know that I can go to him if needed.
Having played professional sport from 1989-2008 I’ve amassed plenty of aches and pains after numerous operations. I’ve been around the world and seen some of the best Doctors and surgeons out there, and Dr Ram has been right up there with his care and skill. Never in a rush, he’s kind, compassionate and very professional. Not only helped me with knee and shoulder pain, he’s also treated my wife for elbow pain. I had suffered with a shoulder injury for 8/9 months - I'd seen five NHS physiotherapists, I'd also paid for a private steroid injection after 4 months which didn't work. I then saw a private physiotherapist who suggested I saw an osteopath (couldn't afford that) or Hydrodilation. I Googled the procedure and Joint Care Clinics came up. After some research I contacted them and spoke to Dr Ram. He invited me to his Rugby clinic the following week! At the appointment Dr Ram was very professional and quickly put me at my ease. He did a comprehensive ultrasound scan, then took his time explaining the three problems in my shoulder, he explained why I was in so much pain, the procedures he would like to do and the costs, there was no pressure to have anything done. I decided to have another steroid injection in my AC joint and Hydrodilation. This procedure was a strange experience, it was uncomfortable but not painful. Within 5-7 days I was pain free! Dr Ram explained I wouldn't feel the full effects of the Hydrodilation for 4-6 weeks, hence the delay in me writing this review. Four weeks on, I'm still pain free and I can raise my arm nearly as high as my other arm (previously I couldn't raise it above shoulder level!) The injection and Hydrodilation combined cost less than the private steroid injection I'd had previously. This was the best Christmas present I could have asked for!I would thoroughly recommend the Joint Care Clinics.
After suffering severe pain in both shoulders for months on the NHS waiting list.I visited Ramakkrishna Rachaputi who diagnosed my problem to be Rotator cuff tears in both shoulders.After painless guided cortisone injections , l am now pain free and very happy.I can't recomend 'Ram' and the clinic highly enough.
I have seen Ramakrishna (Ram) twice and he has been fantastically professional, friendly, thorough and knowledgable in diagnosing my issues. Through the use of ultrasound and other tests, he identified my IT band issue and recommended paths to fix the issue, suggesting IT band stretches this time. I cannot recommend this clinic enough and I thoroughly encourage anyone with issues to make it their first port of call. 10/10
Couldn’t be more impressed by the professional service. My son was in a lot of pain and couldn’t train properly. He was scanned and diagnosed and had a procedure which sorted him out completely. Thank you very much indeed. I will only be using joint care clinics form now on.
I would like to whole heartedly thank Ram. I had been waiting well over 8 months with the NHS to sort out my shoulder problem, to no avail. So looked for a private consultation with Ram at the joint care clinic. After my consultation and an ultrasound which diagnosed arthritis and bursitis, I received steroid injections. I have had steroid injections in the past which I found uncomfortable, but under Ram's expert hands these were not at all painful . One very happy lady.
The experience of my consultation with Ram was excellent and I would highly recommend this clinician who's professionalism shone through at all times during my examination. My visit to JCC was to potentially have a cortisone injection for an injured shoulder which is failing to heal after I had already paid a lot of money for a private MRI scan. To mine and his surprise, when using ultrasound, he discovered a tear to my supraspinatus tendon which was not previously picked up so I am now awaiting a referral by my GP to see an Orthopaedic surgeon before we go any further with any injections at this point. Ram found this damage within 5 minutes of assessing my shoulder whilst a large private clinic failed to do so.....enough said and glad I have now made contact with JCC
