I completed the Journee quiz on a whim and booked a trip without knowing the destination, and I am so glad I did!My Journee trip was the perfect combination of guided tour, and solo adventure. The Journee team, knowledgeable tour guides, and super friendly locals made so many great recommendations for things to see, and places to eat that i nearly forgot my destination was a mystery until just a few days before! I also ended up meeting so many wonderful locals and travelers thanks to all the different daily excursions Journee had in place!Journee planned the perfect trip for me and gave me the confidence to do my own exploration. They took care of all the stressful parts of travel, and allowed me to enjoy the journey.
My husband and I decided to use Journee Travel for our honeymoon trip so that I didn't have to do any additional organising other than the wedding. we completed their questionnaire about where we didn't want to go, our budget, what temperatures we enjoyed and what we like doing on holiday and they took care of the rest! A clue was sent every month about the destination which we didn't guess! We also used the clues as a game of interest on our wedding day for guests to try and guess. The whole trip was brilliantly organised and the Journee passport app was extremely useful which also contained what clothes to pack as well as all digital travel documents. The information pack arrived on the date promised and we opened it, as instructed, at the airport which was really fun! The whole trip was perfectly executed from flights, transfers and accommodation to luggage allowance and travel documents. There were phone numbers for all eventualities btu never had to use any. I would definitely recommend Journee to anyone wanting that element of surprise but also not to have to organise a thing. Go on - be brave!! It really is worth it
Once again this is my 4th or 5th journee trip. I've done solo trips, ive done my 40th with my best friend, ive taken my older boys 16 and 17 and ive just got back from with my cousin! Poland this time and it was just fab, so much to do and see, embraced their culture and learnt about the history of the country which is unbelievable! Delicious food and lots of fun! The trips from Journee were perfect for us. We enjoyed every minute! Can't wait to do the next one!
The Journee team was available throughout the trip and responsive when I needed help. I think they planned a great adventure for me, and I had a great time. All the experiences were fun and educational. The guides were excellent and really knew their history. The lead-up to the trip was so much fun. I shared all my clues with friends, and I didn't have any planning to do before the trip. It was a very relaxing way to go on vacation!
What an amazing experience! Journee didn’t choose one of the bucket-list destinations I submitted, but instead took everything I shared in the questionnaire and matched me perfectly with Munich, Germany and Salzburg, Austria. They absolutely nailed it. The trip was stunning—exactly what I envisioned my vacation to be, but without me having to lift a finger.Not only was the destination spot-on, but every excursion was thoughtfully planned and aligned perfectly with what I enjoy. I had the right balance of relaxation, adventure, and sightseeing. Along the way, I met some incredible people—both fellow Journee travelers and others—who were blown away when I told them how the experience worked. Several even asked for the details so they could use Journee for their next trip.The surprise factor, the sense of mystery, and the fact that all the planning is done for you is the cherry on top. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I’m definitely booking again for next year’s adventure!
I traveled a lot for work for 24 years and had to make so many plans for hundreds of destinations. Now I just want to go - anywhere I have not been. The Journee app was so easy to complete, and I was thrilled with my itinerary. The clues had me guessing all the way to the airport. I was thrilled to be sent to Sevilla, Cordoba, and Grenada. I leaned so much about history, culture, and food. The palaces, forts, architecture was amazing, dating back to the late 700’! 😳 and the tapas were delicious! Loved the excursions and accommodations. Can’t wait to do this again! Thanks Journee!
We filled in our questionnaire advising where we have been before or didn’t want to go. We advised what we like from a holiday. We then received 8 different clues but we still didn’t work out where we were going. Our pack arrived about 10 days before and we decided to have a total surprise and opened it at the airport. We had a two centre holiday with train tickets provided for the second destination. The boarding cards were easily downloaded on our mobile. The pack had a day by day itinerary. We had two day trips included which were both brilliant and geared to us as foodies. Hotels were central and within walking distance of the train stations. Great experience, we would definitely use Journee again and would recommend for a stress free holiday.
This is one of the greatest trips I've been on and I went solo too. Journee did everything which I truly appreciate. The tours I went on, the places that I explored, the restaurants I ate at, all chefs kiss. I would definitely go on another Journee trip. Even when I had some airline issues, Journee was right there with me. Thank you so much Journee. Till we meet again. 🥰
This is my second Journee trip. I went to Ireland for 6 days of good food, of course great beer, surprisingly sunny weather, opportunities to experience history from several different operators, and mostly to view such a beautiful island. Journee takes care of everything. I am tired of making my own plans and worrying if it will all work out. Thanks Journee for a great time!
We absolutely loved our Journee experience! The clues leading up to the trip were so fun and really added to the excitement. Every tour they arranged was wonderful, and the quality of the welcome pack they sent was impressive. It was truly worth every penny — in fact, we already have our second trip booked!I tend to get decision fatigue when planning vacations, so not having to research, plan, or choose every detail took a huge weight off my shoulders.
