Just Cuts Woden, ACTOn the 22nd of August 2023 I went to Just Cuts Woden (Canberra) for a trim. Just a Trim...I left the store with wet hair refusing to pay for a blow dry and with a hair style that is nothing of style and every bit of being hacked at by an inexperienced person.I found out that morning I am to undergo another surgery for breast cancer and felt having a haircut would not only lift my spirits but also assist my personal care after surgery. I avoid looking in the mirror the hack job is so bad and my son suggested going to going to another hairdresser to have it repaired but firstly I'm now back in isolation until surgery and secondly I can't afford it. Disgusted doesnt even begin to describe my feelings.

Disgusted doesnt even begin to describe my feelings.
SOUTHLAND VIC:I had a dream haircut here about 8 weeks ago. Went back for a trim today and the same lady wasn’t there. Wish I had just turned around and left.Maxine said she could cut it. Alarm bells started when she pulled out the electric trimmer to cut the back edge. I had a shoulder length layered style. She took off two inches in the first 15 seconds. But surely, she has a plan, you would not cut someone’s hair with such robust confidence if you had no training surely?!MAXINE then proceeded to hack at my hair like Eddy Scissorhands, with what looked and sounded like sewing shears.This girl is completely unqualified and has NO business cutting actual hair.I now have what could be described as a thick uneven motorbike helmet, that really accentuates my double chin.Thank you, you’ve absolutely ruined my life for the next 8-12 weeks. FU Maxine.I had a better cut from a Brad Mondo tutorial during Covid that I did myself. Shame on the business owner who gave this girl this job cutting. She should be sweeping the floor as an apprentice. I’ll be lodging a complaint with Consumer Affairs. Don’t think I’ve ever had such a horrific friggin haircut.Just cuts? Just don’t.

I had the privilege recently of getting my hair cut , and washed / shampooed by Robyn @ Riverlink in Ipswich. My expectations were easily meet and I got exactly what I wished for, coupled with outstanding customer service. I’m really happy and grateful for the experience I received … as it happens, I’ve now finally found my new hairdresser …thank you so much indeed, I sincerely appreciate your efforts, see you again Robyn in a couple of weeks ! Worst hair salon. I paid £15 to get my 5 year old daughter's hair cut at the Lakeside branch, however they have literally butchered my poor girl's hair. On 22nd July, a male hairdresser cut my daughter's hair, it was very noticeable left side was cut shorter than the right. I asked a couple of times if he was sure the hair cut was alright, he said it was straight. I came home and Iiterally every person I showed my daughter's hair to said her hair was not straight and looks like someone amateur cut her hair. I contacted the branch and explained the issue to give them another chance to rectify it, spoke to manager Holly, who asked me to go back so they can correct it. I explained it's very difficult for me to go all the way to Lakeside with my two other kids who are both under 2, however I will go in again and let them fix her hair. So I took my daughter back again on 5th August, the manager seemed nice but she has done an even worse job by giving her a jaggered hair cut, it looks like a kid had cut her hair. I'm in absolute shock as to how a professional hair dressers can do this. My daughter was so well behaved whilst getting her hair cut. I stood next to my daughter to make sure she didn't move her head. It's unbelievable what they have done to my daughter's hair. I paid £15 and took two trips to the Lakeside branch to get this awful hair cut. I could have cut it better myself. Please someone get back to me, I need my daughter's hair cut again and need the money back to go to a proper hair salon.
