I ordered a Studio Ghibli Advent Calendar from Kinda Kawaii. I understand that this is a new item for them this year. It’s true that they experienced some unexpected setbacks with suppliers, customs and shipping, so I didn’t receive the item until December 11. However, I thought that the company did a good job communicating about what was going on, and the calendar was worth waiting for. It’s the nicest Advent calendar we’ve ever had, and my son is thrilled with it. It’s quite sturdy, and each little gift comes in an individual drawer. The gifts inside (that we’ve looked at so far) are cute and good quality. There’s a good variety of types of things inside. They feature different Ghibli movies, not just Spirited Away. My son says that he would be happy to receive any one of the gifts as a stand-alone present. I would definitely order from them again.
I was absolutely blown away by the high quality and thoughtfully chosen gifts inside the first drawers… I had to hop on here to rave about the Sanrio advent calendar. I got a second one to send as a gift! My best friend has been in awe as well watching her daughter get to open each gift too! We loved the high quality, size, and carefully chosen gifts each drawer has. Right when you don’t think one can be topped, blam — Kinda Kawaii beat any advent calendar I’ve ever seen. Y’all on here complaining, I feel so bad for the loved one that didn’t get the calendar because you panicked and canceled. The product is gorgeous and not a scam. You all should be ashamed for harassing a small business that has been completely 100000% transparent the entire process. I personally found the wait more exciting; getting to open multiple gifts the first day. 10/10 highly recommend. I will absolutely be doing business with them again.
I am so thrilled with the sanrio advent calendar purchase for my daughter… I only wish I purchased MORE! Fantastic company and can’t say enough good things about the sweet surprises that has filled it- so impressive & top quality!
The advent calendar was running late but I received a few emails with updates. Since it was due to circumstances beyond the owner’s control, we understood. After patiently waiting, the package arrived! Granted it was 9 days late BUT my kiddo was overjoyed that it arrived and more than happy about opening 9 items at once. As for the advent calendar itself?? It was WAY more beautiful in person and the once’s my kid got to open showed a lot of variety too. Can’t wait for next year!
I also ordered the Sanrio advent calendar months in advance. I understand where everyone is coming from because I too only received it yesterday. I was also frustrated. But once I received it, I could not believe the quality. From the calendar itself, to all of the items my girls opened - we were ALL amazed. These are Sanrio items that I often find myself paying A LOT of money for. These aren't cheap gifts by any means. Also, my girls were ecstatic to open 9 days at once ☺️. I would absolutely purchase this again, even knowing it would come late.
Absolutely love the Sanrio Advent Calendar so far! The seller had some issues with their shipping provider, but they answered my questions super kindly and promptly. Once the shipping was straightened out, I had my package within two days. I would definitely recommend. It’s beautifully made.
I ordered my daughter’s advent calendar months ago. It says the label is still waiting to be created in Texas. I really wanted to give her something special and paid a lot of money for it. I am ok with waiting but now am paying extra money to try to fulfill another advent calendar in the meantime. I am really hoping this isn’t a scam and I get taken advantage of. So it will be a wait and see. I love supporting small businesses but am wondering if they bit off more than they could chew on this one. Time will tell.
The only reason why I gave a 4/5 is a direct reflection of the shipping company, and NOT kindakawaii (otherwise it'd be a 5/5). Kindakawaii has be nothing but communicative with her customers and being honest with the shipping process. I think its easy to jump to conclusions of "This is a scam", but I personally reached out to Kindakawaii and felt at ease as they ALWAYS responded. I received my advent calender three days after they posted that the calenders were on the move! The holiday seasons are always stressful, but a lil bump in the road made the wait worth it! Plus, when I received the calendar, I was so giddy that I got to open more than one to make up for the days missed (I definitely felt like a kid opening presents on Christmas morning). The calendar is beautifully curated. I do feel bad for the customers who cancelled their order because, like I said before, the wait was worth it! I will definitely be supporting Kindakawaii in the future <3.
Great company and website that is runned by company. Always received my orders. No issues at all. The company has sent out information to followers about the advent calendars which due to problems their be a delay which is total fine. This was said back start of November. Any way the items bought from this company are beautiful and I will buy again. I reviewed this company on my YouTube channel. The one star people are fakes or people who haven't paid attention to the company information that being sent out.
