Extremely Frustrated with Service

If I could rate zero, I would. I rarely write negative reviews, but this situation requires it as I received no support from customer service. I ordered a calendar in July, expecting it to ship in early November. It was sent on November 18th from the U.S. to Italy, which made timely delivery impossible. There were delays with the delivery company, and I still haven't received the package. I reached out multiple times, but aside from apologies, they provided no assistance or updates. I contacted the courier directly to find out the delay. Now, it’s December 3rd, and I still have not received my order. I will not be purchasing from them again.

Hoping for Improvement After Last Year's Issues

I decided to give the service another chance after last year's Advent calendar problems since they changed suppliers and adjusted their business strategy. I ordered the Sanrio Advent calendar in early September, expecting it to ship by late October/early November. Unfortunately, it wasn't shipped on time, and I had to follow up multiple times for updates. Initially, I was told it would ship at the beginning of the week, then before Sunday, and finally it shipped two days late. I appreciate their efforts to improve customer experience, but they still need to enhance communication regarding delays. It's now December 1st, and my package is stuck in transit. It could have arrived on time if shipped as promised. I'm disappointed again.

Late Delivery and Poor Communication

The service does not deliver on time and fails to update customers on delays. I requested a refund and had to escalate the issue because they were uncooperative.

Nightmare Experience with Order

I had a nightmare ordering the monthly box through a payment service. After the month ended, there was no dispatch. I contacted them, and they said they were still waiting on an item from Japan. Days passed with no updates, forcing me to open a dispute for a refund. They insisted I close the dispute to receive my refund, but I couldn't do that without making a payment for an item I never received. The payment service escalated the issue, and they eventually refunded me after 40 days. I have all the emails and have reported them for what felt like fraud. I will never order from them again!

Awesome shop!

I had ordered a calendar.The calendar is absolutely beautiful! Huge in size and filled with very high-quality, thoughtful, and gorgeous items! No cheap plastic figures or fillers, but rather things you can actually use or decorate your home with.The customer service is excellent as well; emails were answered quickly and solutions were found for any issues. An absolute recommendation to buy – I’d gladly order again!

Nothing but great feelings about The…

Nothing but great feelings about The Studio Ghibli Advent Calendar. Was a little late however I expected that after reading the website. All quality handcrafted gifts everyday. All Quality material,glass and metals no plastic.Beautiful Stainglass ornaments made of glass.My favorite was the Sprited Away Salt and Pepper Shaker.There was rings,jewelry & so many awesome knicknacks.Cant wait to see what is in this year's Advent Calendar.

Nope.

Ordered 2x 3 month subscriptions of kawaii boxes as gifts late November. It is now March 5 and have one received on month of boxes. Contacted for support/ refund as this is absurd, and customer service panic generated a shipping label (easy to see based on the date and time stamp after my email and right before their reply) and claimed there was a box shipped so they could no longer refund. Extremely chaotic and disingenuous company. The issues they had with their advent calendar were not isolated, it is evidence of how the business runs as a whole. Avoid at all costs.

Missing the Stamps of Approval :)

Love sturdiness of box. Great value of cute items. Allowed me to see what I was getting before purchase. I really liked an item they had substituted without warning, but they explained their reasons, I would have still wanted the item I didn’t get because I collect that particular item but the item they did send was of equivalent value and they explained that

Excellent Customer Service

I purchased a Sanrio advent calendar and sadly it got returned due to a mistake by DHL. The customer service was very quick to reply and very quick to solve my problem. They were all polite and I appreciate the good service I recieved.
