I legit thought this was a scam at first too. However, I was constantly communicated to about the delay of the advent calendar and even though it was super disappointing for it to be 8 days late, it’s literally the best advent calendar I’ve ever seen. My daughter is obsessed with Sanrio and everyday we are blown away with how amazing the products are. Definitely worth the wait! And she got to open 8 in one day which was exciting for her. Raff is just starting out with his business so show him a little grace as he figures it out. The product is literally the best we’ve seen.
Ordered the sanrio advent calender and I am blown away by how high quality each and every item inside was, lovely variety of items, the plush are super soft and feel expensive. There's a lot of different sanrio characters so no matter who your favourite you're almost guaranteed an item/s for your favourite.
I just received my Ghibli Advent Calendar. I purchased the 24 day version. It did arrive late! However, the wait was absolutely worth it. This advent calendar is exquisite. I wish I could post pictures. And the company is new... so they had some difficulties getting the product delivered in time. The owner of the company, Raff, is so communicative and eager to set things right. When I tell you this calendar is absolutely incredible - that is an understatement. I want one every year! I opened the first two days of the calendar... a No-Face Ring! And then a light up Totoro! Just so sweet and beautiful! I cherish this advent calendar. If you are still waiting for yours, rest assured it is worth the wait.
I preordered my 24-day advent calendar in September for my Studio Ghibli loving child. Kinda Kawaii had great communication about the orders and the process, so when there ended up being shipping delays, I knew well in advance not to expect it by 12/1. Due to shipping delays, I did not receive the calendar until 12/12, but is AMAZING. It is such a high quality product, so well made with a lot of attention to detail and a lot of care put into it. First, it's huge, and the daily boxes are these lovely little drawers with ribbons. The actual items are exciting and varied and high quality. My child is THRILLED. This is the nicest advent calendar I have ever seen. Even though it is late, we are having a great time with it and I am glad we bought it.Like others I was of course bummed when we did not get it by 12/1, but we did receive many updates and explanations on the situation. It was clear Kinda Kawaii was doing everything they could and that they were crushed that things became so delayed. When I reached out for an update, I got a prompt response that was helpful. This small company made a beautiful product with a lot of thought and care, and it is unfortunate that there were unforeseen delays along the way, but we are so happy to have the calendar. It is really special.

I ordered from Kinda Kawaii for the first time because of the beautiful advent calendar from Sanrio. This was suggested to me by chance on Instagram, for which I am sooo grateful 🙏🏼🙏🏼 The calendar was put together with a lot of love. The items all look very high quality and the Sanrio characters change daily. From soft toys and figurines to beautiful glass ornaments, everything is included. The packaging of the calendar alone is simply a love of detail 🫶🏻The customer service is also sweet as sugar and tries so hard to please its customers. I will definitely be ordering there more often in future, at the latest for the next advent calendar 🥰🥹
This is the most thoughtful and beautiful collection of Studio Ghibli memorabilia items!!!! We are very appreciative of the care taken in quality of items, and a great mix of items from functional to decorative to wearables. There is no cheap junk in any of the days- it's all fantastic quality. I opened all 12 days when it was delivered so I knew what my daughter would be getting (I had bought it on Instagram and so I was a little skeptical) Well done!There was a shipping delay but this was 100% worth the wait. Supporting small business is important to me so it was a small inconvenience.
Seeing an ad on instagram made me cautious of purchasing this advent calendar as I have had trouble in the past with another small business and issues with shipping. After some debate, I did decide to purchase and despite the delay in shipping with this company, I can pleasantly say that the product is amazing and was worth the wait. The quality of the box itself is something to be saved and I will be reusing, along with the quality of the items are higher quality for any advent calendar I've ever purchased. There are not just stickers and paper images/ cheap pins, but high quality items that include materials such as leather, glass, and many more. The owner communicated thoroughly about the issues with shipping and expressed their own frustration with the delay which speaks volumes for the company's customer service. I will be purchasing again and look forward to supporting such a great business!
I ordered my daughter the advent calendar in October and while there were some shipping issues as far as timing, once it came, we were absolutely impressed with the quality of both the advent calendar box the products came in, but then the individual presents inside of it, as well. It is absolutely stunning and made my daughter’s whole holiday season. She looks forward to opening each box everyday and they keep getting cuter and cuter. I appreciate all of the timely updates and willingness of the owner to keep me posted on what was happening. I will definitely be buying from this company again. We could not be happier! Thank you so much!!!
