Amazing 24 Day advent calendar. Despite the major issues with delivery which were not the makers fault the advent arrived in beautiful condition. I felt that we were notified by the vendor of the issues and given information when we asked for it. Looking forward to next years advent! Thank you
I have to say the Sanrio Advent calendar is simply amazing. We've never had such a great calendar and we live in Germany where everything revolves around Advent calendars.The price was also great, as the individual pieces have all been of very high quality. A blind box alone costs €18 in our local shops. What is also important is that the costumer service reply to every message and email. No matter what it is about, sooner or later you get in touch and they’ll answer all questions as best as they can. Even though the calendar arrived late, we hope for many more calendars and will always be happy to buy them.
This is a high quality item with excellent quality gifts in each box. I was thoroughly impressed with the box it came in - you can tell no expenses were spared. More importantly, my teenage / adult children are wowed by the Ghilbi trinkets and how well made and unique they are. Debating who gets to keep what. Very creative an cool
So, first up, yes - there was a delay with the shipment of the advent calendar and it didn't arrive until a little way into December BUT I received fairly comprehensive emails explaining the issue (a shipping issue on one of the components) and providing details of when to expect delivery, which were accurate to the day.That aside, I think the Studio Ghibli Advent Calendar is quite possibly the best thing I have ever bought myself!! The actual calendar itself is a thing of beauty and the contents (thus far) have all been amazing. Jewellery, trinkets, decorations...it is all gorgeous and I am 100% in love with the lot! Even with the delay, it has been worth every single penny.
Bought a Studio Ghibli advent calendar from here, unfortunately delivery was delayed due to production issues, but when it did arrive the standard and quality of the item was incredible. The calendar itself is beautifully crafted and will be good for years of use, and the daily items were so intricate, beautifully made and really special. A million times better than any other calendar of this type and more than I even expected. Updates came readily on delivery and it was more than worth the wait.
I pre-ordered this calendar back in September and it was worth EVERY SECOND of waiting. We received it yesterday and my kids wasted no time catching up. Each drawer was better than the last and a total "AWE!!!" moment. My kids love Studio Ghibli so I was a bit nervous the calendar would have items they either have already or have seen and that has not happened yet! Every item is so clever and unique and really high quality - not to mention the box is gorgeous! And yes, it was delayed and yes, it was a bit disappointing, but the creator was in near constant contact with updates and kept us informed of the challenges he was facing. Apparently, this was the first year some vendors were used to source items so there were some snafus that will be fixed for next year. I will let you know as I will DEFINITELY be ordering again!! And I've read some of these reviews and OOF... if this delay was enough to ruin your holiday, please look inward and try to be kinder. We are all just one mistake, accident or decision away from being what we criticize. Thank you for an amazing product!!
I have emailed numerous times now as I didn't receive my monthly box for October but have since received my box for December. I have provided tracking info to show that there has been no information added for the shipment of my box. Boxes seem to always ship late.
I've gone with 4 stars as my calendar has only arrived now 14 days late. I was so worried by other reviews that I'd be receiving sub standard things or nothing at all, but my god how wrong i was! It js absolutely incredible and I am so glad i waited. Sadly day 9 was missing for me, my husband has messaged the owner so hoping to get a reply about that soon. But honestly, I am delighted and the gifts are amazing!
Pre-ordered the Ghibli advent calendar ages ago and was initially disappointed that it was very delayed, but it just turned up today and it is incredible. Absolutely huge and all the boxes opened so far have had really good quality stuff inside, my wife loves it!
High quality product. Arrived with all pieces and everything is beautiful. I’m changing my initial negative review because of the quality of what we received. It was worth the price. Receiving an advent calendar on the 17th of December isn’t great and I still feel like a price reduction should have been given and the owner could have been more respectful in talking with clients that did not receive their products in a timely manner. Especially because this is a very time sensitive item.But I will give credit to the business for an excellent product.
