AMAZING customer service. They had such bad luck being let down by other businesses but was super transparent about everything and gave people the option to cancel and get a full refund, no questions asked, or, wait and still receive the advent but a little delayed. I personally opted for the refund, but hold no ill thoughts or feelings towards Kinda Kawaii at all. My refund came through in a matter of days. As promised. Yes I asked for a refund but I will 100% be supporting them in another way that I can in the future. They do not deserve to be torn down and having such hateful words said to them. They are a 1 person business and were let down by things outside of their means and tried correcting and making things right as quickly as they could.
Love, love, LOVE whoever runs this business and the resilience they have during these crazy times. Idc if I have to wait a couple more weeks for this package cuz im literally so excited for this beautifully created piece made with love. They work day in, day out to make sure we know what's up and takes the time to communicate with their customers about whats going on.
I purchased a Pokemon box and absolutely LOVED it. Really cute items and even the box was so cute, you can tell how much love was poured into it. I have also purchased the Sanrio advent calendar which I am still waiting for however I feel there has been lots of communication and updates so feel very reassured. Ordering from a small business I’m aware that problems can arise but I feel it was handled really well and can definitely wait for it!!!
People need to consider that this is a small business run by one person! Calling them a scammer is simply just telling lies, as they have never scammed anyone and given out refunds to anyone who wants it. They have always been extremely kind and honest, which you don’t find with a lot of companies nowadays. If you have an issue with your order, you can always send them a DM on instagram and they are always more than happy to help.
I’ve never had an issue with Kinda Kawaii. They have always supported my subscription box cancellation if I struggle one of the months to pay. They also provide beautifully packaged items and amazing quality items too. I would 100% support them as a small business. Keep up the amazing work ♥️
I recently had the pleasure of interacting with Kinda Kawaii, and I want to highlight the incredible dedication and kindness of Raff, who is behind the business. While I haven’t received the advent calendar yet due to unavoidable delays, it’s clear that Raff has gone above and beyond to communicate expectations transparently and manage this challenging situation with grace.Running a small business is no small feat, and seeing the personal effort Raff has put into every detail—from designing the website to handling communications—shows how much care and heart go into this company. It’s disheartening to hear that some people have been harassing him over delays that are clearly outside of his control.Despite these challenges, Raff’s professionalism and thoughtful responses have stood out. It’s rare to see someone so invested in ensuring their customers are cared for, even when faced with tough circumstances. The kindness and generosity he has shown reflect what a great business this is.I have no doubt the advent calendar will be worth the wait, and I will happily shop here again. This is a small business worth supporting for the heart and effort they put into everything they do!
This company is rotten to the core. I ordered 2 advent calendars for my children nearly 8WEEKS AND 3 WEEKS AGO!!! Nothing is here. No ship date. Just a couple of tracking numbers from a location in Texas. I already told them I wanted a refund and they replied by avoiding my request and giving a spiel about shipping woes. IM SO DISAPPOINTED, and my kids are missing out on the advent calendar which was supposed to begin today.
I ordered the Sanrio Advent Calendar from their website in October since it was recommended to me via Instagram ads. I was completely taken away by the detailed design of the calendar as well as the previewed items so I ordered it right away. The description on the website stated that the item would ship from China, that there won’t be any duty fees that would have to be paid upon arrival and most importantly that the calendar would ship my November 25th and arrive by beginning of December which I was completely fine with. Fast-forwarding to November 22nd I received a mail saying that my order was shipped (from Texas) and while I was a little confused and concerned about possible duty fees I might face, I was very excited and happy that my calendar would arrive just on time! However the status „label created“ did not change. Only by e-mailing them was I able to discover that apparently the calendars are not even finished yet as an item is still missing so only the shipping labels have been created yet. They added that I might have to pay a small amount of customs but that they declared a lower value on the calendar. I would like to add that this is fraud and while it is a way to get around having to pay fees, it might face big trouble during duty inspection if they find out about it (making the calendar not arrive at all mind you!). Via Instagram they did update the customers on the progress, however people became increasingly frustrated about the constant delays. Today is the 1st of December and my calendar still has not shipped, nor has anyone received an approximate shipping date. The calendar would therefore arrive mid to end of December, absolutely defeating the purpose of an advent calendar (one that cost 180€ I might add). Via Instagram people increasingly became frustrated and complained about the delay in their comments which were disabled soon after. KindaKawaii then created a story complaining about their customers being mad, claiming that a lot of things had gone wrong in the progress and that they’re working on 6000+ orders as a one person business which all puts them down emotionally.Dear Raff, your planning of this calendar has been an absolute catastrophe and not taking accountability for your mistakes makes the matter even worse. How is it possible that you seemingly ordered supplies so late, that they only arrive by December? How can you complain about being overwhelmed by all the orders coming in when you could simply limit the supply and focus on a smaller quantity of orders while providing more quality? I completely understand that issues like the typhoon which led to a delay have caused trouble but most of the issues you faced could have mostly been avoided by proper planning (for example the sudden change in price because shipping was higher than initially anticipated). You cannot sell an advent calendar that people spent a huge amount of money on while not being able to keep the promises made on your website which should be the bare minimum. Having a small business takes proper execution and planning, if you’re overwhelmed by that then you should seek assistance or pause your business for a while and figure out exact plans. Your customers bought the calendar as gifts or maybe even as their first proper advent calendar for themselves ever and we all have spent a big amount of money on it that we worked hard for, a few probably even spent their savings on it I’m sure. I am confident the advent calendar would have been absolutely beautiful and worth the price, given the previews and the overall design. But the poor execution destroyed that experience for me and many other people, as we basically all had to run after information about shipping and the calendar not even arriving on time now. I have cancelled my order but would have personally loved to enjoy it for Christmas season. In order to improve your business, please stop blaming other people for things that have gone wrong and own up to your mistakes. Otherwise you have probably ruined your business and its reputation by this calendar catastrophe.EDIT: I also just found out that all of the items in the calendar can be found on Aliexpress or Shein, meaning they are cheap products from China… I don’t regret my cancellation.
I know that many people nowadays expect a package to be delivered all the way around the planet in the shortest possible time, thanks Amazon. What would do our society good would be a little more patience and gratitude. I ordered a Ghibli box in early or mid-October and it arrived a week ago. I was able to ask about the status at any time and also see this via my account. The products are high quality and for 45€ I would have maybe only gotten two or one item here in Germany. I am incredibly grateful that I have the opportunity to get these great fan items at a fair price. I am happy to wait two months. You also have to consider that you are not really doing the planet a favor with a delivery like this. That is why I think the excitement in the bad comments is simply unjustified.I also ordered the Ghibli advent calendar. Yes, it is expensive but you would never get the items for that price. It's the same story as with the Ghibli box. I'm looking forward to the day it arrives. Even if it doesn't arrive until January, I'll still be happy about it. I think it's great how these people make something like this possible for us. This company is NOT a scam. They're trying hard and are doing everything in their power. Keep it up and don't be discouraged. Unfortunately, there are enough ungrateful people out there, but there are even more who appreciate your work. Thank you!
I have used this website for a few months getting the Cinnamoroll lucky bag, i can say i have received genuine sanrio branded items each time i get a delivery, and i always get quick messages from customer service through their instagram. Im Looking forward to receiving more lucky bags✨
