UPDATE: You can cancel your order and get a refund. I did a charge back through Amex and kinda kawaii sent me an email stating that my order was canceled, which makes me think that they haven'th actually shipped these anywhere, as claimed in their prior emails. Beware!I also ordered a Sanrio House 24 Day Advent Calendar from Kinda Kawaii. I'm having all of the same issues as these other customers. It never arrived and the start date for using this Calendar has passed. I also requested a refund and got a generic reply saying they aren't obligated to give one—WRONG! You have rights as a consumer. They are legally obligated to give a refund for goods not delivered on time. I also started a charge back through Amex and have provided all of the pertinent information to support my case. What's the point in ordering an advent calendar you can't use as intended? I also have $200 tied up in this order and no time to get my daughter something else that is not the same basic chocolates every day until Christmas eve. Incredibly disappointed in this company and how they handled things. If you couldn't fulfill these orders, then you should have put a cap on the number of orders able to be realistically placed.
I made an order back in early October for a mystery stocking and didn’t hear anything about it regarding shipping, updates etc. I understand that it’s a busy time right now but I expected to hear something.I attempted to get in contact and didn’t hear back. I again got in contact recently and no response but suddenly had an email with a shipment order / tracking which is of course positive.It’s quite disappointing to purchase something so far in advance and not hear anything or get it in time for what it was purchased for. My review could’ve been avoided with communication of the situation but I just feel left in the dark about what is happening. I’m not sure if my order was just forgotten? It would’ve been ok if they let me know, but I ordered over two months ago now and still have heard nothing.
I have ordered the Studio Ghibli themed advent calendar (which ships in November). I can’t wait to receive it, I’m also very tempted to order the Sanrio one just down to the beauty of the calendar they have produced. I have enjoyed the social interactions with this company on Insta and love how they get their followers involved in helping shape their ideas and designs. I will add more info when I receive my Ghibli calendar, the most anticipated advent calendar of my life. Yes, I am an adult unapologetically purchasing it for myself!
Love kinda kawaii. I get their monthly ghibli box and always look forward to receiving it. Their customer service is excellent and always quick to respond. I’ve recently preordered the studio ghibli advent calendar which hasn’t yet been shipped but they’ve been sharing loads of updates around it and I’m so excited for when that arrives!!
I have been getting monthly Pokemon boxes for good few months now, every month I get so many lovely pokemon Asia license items that are great addition to my Pokemon collection. I have also places couple of one of orders outside the subscription and their shop is always stocked with lovely kawaii items, including Sanrio, Pokemon, Studio Ghibli and Sailor Moon. Customer service is always lovely whenever I interact with them via social media and they are always quick to respond to any queries. I highly recommend ordering a monthly box it's a lovely surprise to receive each month!I am very satisfied with service and products provided by KindaKawaii and looking forward to more Pokemon boxes in upcoming months!Thank you!
My partner and I have subscribed to the monthly Pokémon and studio Ghibli mystery boxes. Shipping can be a little long for my impatient other half but what can we expect when its traveling half way around the world. (But bonus he's forgotten what's in the box by the time it arrives so all surprise.)Boxes x 2 each, so far, plus a cheeky one before subscribing have all arrived in excellent condition and very pleased with the surprises in each one ❤️Thank you so much looking forward to this month's box ✨
I made an order back in September. I had an issue. I contacted them and they resolved it sharpish. This is both an honest review and a response to the negatives getting bent out of shape over someone trying to resolve an issue out of their control. I had ordered a Totoro China tea cup. It didn’t arrive. This was frustrating. But instead of lashing out I messaged them and they followed it up. It still hadn’t arrived and they again replied and then finally solved the issue. They accepted the fault (not theirs) and were extremely apologetic. How many times have you complained and been granted 3 wishes from the big corporations? I guarantee you haven’t but because they have huge financial backing they can take the hit on freebies and refunds. If this is what happens when a small business tries to fix a big issue then it’s clear internet shopping isn’t for you, especially when the product also arrives from out of the country and out of the continent. It’s refreshing to be treated as a human and not an order number.
