Review Time
This company is delivering a sofa that we bought from Costco. The experience with them is terrible. They supposed to deliver 6 piece sofa and they delivered only 5. This was on Tuesday, 17/12/24. My partner was at home to receive the delivery. When it turned up the driver and the installer found out about the missing box, they called their office/warehouse. Lisa, Customer Service & Logistics Manager, said that the night shift made a mistake and didn't load the box. She asked if I was happy to take delivery of what they had on the van and the rest will be put on the delivery van on Friday, 20/12/24 with highest priority. My partner agreed, took delivery and asked for a confirmation email of what has been discussed. I did receive it but it didn't have a time slot for Friday.Today, 18/12/24 at 11.20 AM I received and email with a link form baumhaus.co.uk (no idea why this is a different company) to confirm the delivery slot by 12 PM. So even if the link was active at all I had only 40 minutes to confirm. I'm a primary school teacher and because of Safeguarding rules I can't use a phone during work hours. The link is now inactive and the slot is gone. We're paying for Kineticlogistics/Baumhaus mistakes.On a positive side - the delivery people were really helpful and professional. This company is a mess. for the livery slots the emails come from Baumhaus and I can only deal with Kinetic Logistics. 01869233317 and 0845 644 8883, both numbers are not working and contact us form is useless. No replies at all.
Phoned because he's over an hour early (normally a good thing), I tell him I am doing school drop off and will be back in 10 minutes, blurts out on the phone that it's a piano delivery loud enough my daughter can hear. I now get 20 questions on who is getting a piano. Not only does he arrive early he is not for waiting the 10 minutes for me to come back. I tell him leave it in front of my garage and I'll lift it in - if it is not heavy, it certainly is heavy. He decides to ignore that and put it around the other side of the house, it's raining. The cardboard box is soaked in a puddle it's far too heavy for one person to lift and move, I struggle to walk it somehow round back to the garage door. The cardboard box is wet and gives in, the contents probably damaged. Thanks very much kinetic. If you can't stick to a schedule then don't send one. Yes I'm raging.
I took half a day off work last week to accept the delivery and paid for someone to put a shed up for me which was meant to be delivered however I got a text at 3.25pm which was 25 mins after the allocated time slot to say that the driver had to go back to the depot. So the person had lost a day work who had scheduled the shed to be up. I lost half a day work.The delivery drivers who turned up today were extremely helpful but I have to say I was severely disappointed in the fact they have to lift heavy loads from the van without a tail lift? This is disgraceful to expect people to lift extremely heavy loads. So shame on your company!! I would give those drivers a 5 star rating but your company a 1 star and your delivery driver last week for cancelling without any notice.
