Review Time
My experience has been very disappointing while attempting to get broadband set up. The first technician didn't have a ladder to access the cable installed on my property. Although it was marked as a high priority with a confirmed date, the second attempt has now been canceled due to 'unforeseen circumstances,' which seems more like a lack of effort.

Horrific, unprofessional staff who haven’t a clue what they’re doing. An idiotic man came to our house and installed our router in the back of our attic. Not in the front hall like the other 8 billion people on the planet have. We queried this and he insisted this was the best place. We literally cannot use Netflix, Disney, a laptop, university programs. We have no internet. We have to use our mobile data. Sky came out to try and help us as we ended up getting their internet, and the installer told us that he worked for KN for 3 years and that the staff are poorly trained and haven’t a clue, which is why he ended up leaving. We rang them and encountered the most “Karen” customer service from a cheeky, abrasive brat of a woman. She couldn’t help us and hadn’t a clue. Worst company in existence. Avoid ah all costs they’re a sham and a scam.
This must be the worst company with the worst communication from engineers and staff alike.On initial set up I had an engineer attend my house to install Fibre broadband I had been booked in from 9am to 5pm. He arrived at 3:45pm on his own to do a job that was going to take at least 2 hrs. He then proceeded to take out a few tools and look at the job then went on the phone and smoked an e-cigerette walking up and down the road for an hour then said he couldn't do the job until I dug a ditch at the front of the house. This fact was never highlited by the sight survey then said they completed. They eventually came back when I carried out the works. Now I have no broadband again for a week and eir my provider said it's an nbi issue so kn were contacted again and booked for today's date from 12 to 4. There was no show from the engineer so I contacted bookings directly at 4:15 and was informed that they are still down to attend and that she would get the engineer to contact me. At 5:50 there was still no contact or engineer on site so I contacted booking again and the lady said she would contact the engineer to stay on the line. When she came back to me she informed me that that engineer was on his way home without ever contacting me. What a waste of another day and time by me and not even an apology over the phone.
A technician came to install my neighbors. Not sure what he did, but now my internet has been cut off. He says I should call Eir to come and fix a problem that he caused. I called Eir after he left; a technician will be available in 3 days at least.
Diabolical service, not a phone call, waiting in all day and I had to call installation crew!!! Told me they won't make it and gave me date for 2 weeks later! I now have to book ANOTHER day off work!! There is obviously not enough people to install fiber!! They finish on a Thursday and home for the weekend meanwhile we're left hanging until they decide to come.... not a good service at all!! Zero zero stars
While I appreciate I've not had an engineer out to install the equipment for fiber connection. I can't recommend enough the customer care I've had so far. Professional detailed prompt friendly accurate ESPECIALLY the lady I was speakinb to on the phone this morning to confirm my appointment. I hope the engineer follows the same courteous manner 5 stars
Still waiting 3 months for installation. You call them in advance to confirm an appointment and they say we will call you, they don't. Complete clowns. Also sounds a terrible place the work, the girl who called me back this wednesday sounded like she wanted to end it.
Waiting in all morning for an engineer to arrive between 0800-1200. Received a missed call at 1117 when I did ring them back they told me that their engineer went on sick (on a bank holiday weekend) and they had no cover. Rescheduled for Friday 9 May but we’ll see!
