Review Time
I bought one of their tactical dog collars about a year ago and the metal plate that connects the two ends together snapped off. Keep in mind that my dog is an inside dog and wasn't connected to a lead or anything that he could have pulled on causing it to break like that. We even use a training collar when walking him because he's very strong and can be difficult to walk. I contacted KONG through email explaining what happened and expected to this to be covered under their 3 year warranty but when they responded I was told that their accessories are made by a third party company and therefore only come with a 60 day guarantee. What if I didn't use a training collar to walk him and used that one instead? Anything could have happened when it broke! He could have run off and been hit by a car...or could have been attacked by another animal. The company's resolution to this faulty product was to issue me $10 off of a $40+ purchase at PetSmart...that's the ONLY reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1.
Bought the KONG 2-pack balls, small, with squeaker. KONG claims that this dog ball is durable along with the squeaker. The squeaker stopped working on the 3rd or 4th time we played with over a 2 week period. KONG is unwilling to take a Chewy online receipt making it hard to get a claim to get a replacement product very, very difficult. Being difficult accepting returns MAY BE how KING chooses to keep their defective returns down. Best I can suggest is stop buying from KONG and go with a more reputable company!They’ve lost my business forever…
Kong dog toys have always been a favourite, but I am astonished at how well the Kong Reflex Flyer is lasting. My dogs are serious about chewing and ruining their toys, but the Kong Reflex Flyer has defeated them - they just enjoy the chase as intended now
Disappointing quality and poor customer service. The toy lasted less than 10 minutes-$19 for under 10 minutes of use (about $2 per minute!). I reached out to KONG several times and received no response. Overpriced product with no customer support. Would not recommend.
We have many long lasting quality Kong toys for our 80lb golden retriever. We recently bought a Kong football. Within five minutes he had almost all of the fiber coating off the football. I have always found Kong dog toys extremely well made and good quality, however having purchased a canister of Kong easy treat for puppies which is used to seal the end of the classic Kong toy to hold treats in, I couldn’t believe how little use I had before it ran out, and having paid over £9.50 for it , I consider it a ridiculous price, and very disappointing.
