I booked my first trip with LWT to Bali in Jun 25, was I nervous about travelling across the world by myself to meet 24 women I’d never met before - ABSOLUTELY- did I have the most amazing time - OMG yes I did! So much so, I booked my next trip to Vietnam as soon as I could - back 2 weeks now and still looking longingly at my photos wishing I was still there. Will I book again? Try stopping me! Here’s why, 1 - you meet the most inspiring ladies, people who have so much love and compassion and who genuinely just want to see the world and live their best lives. I’ve made friends for life. 2 - you get to see and experience things you just wouldn’t if you book a fly and flop holiday. The tours are well planned, a mixture of activities from sightseeing and culture to adventure and action - but only if you want to. The best thing is you don’t have to do any planning or organising as it’s all done for you, you just show up and enjoy! Hotels are great - never had a bad one and beds are always comfortable ❤️ Shareen genuinely cares that her guests have a great time and they enjoy their experience - a tough job managing the expectations of 20+ women, but the smiley faces in the photos say it all! Can’t wait for 2027 dates to come out!
I have traveled with this group both in the UK and zbriad. I like the set up of a host for between 12 and 24 ladies and have found many like minded ladies on the trips. The owner Shareen is knowledgeable and supportive and encourages ladies to live their best life. This type of group travel has been a revelation to me and I really enjoy it. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
Wow wow wow, what an amazing group this is! I found the group when I became single and wasn't sure what was in store. I joined the group and watched for a while and saw I was missing out on these amazing trips that the wonderful Shareen had to offer. Life was absolutely not over and what's more having been part of this amazing group of ladies. I'm kinda thinking IT's JUST STARTED. I dipped my toe in with a UK trip last year and loved it and I'm recently back from Finland. 15 ladies, 7 amazing nights where we laughed, danced and made memories that will last a lifetime. I've been so lucky to have the amazing Shareen host both of my trips. Not only is she the loveliest soul but her travel knowledge and experience is emense, every trip is well planned and thought through to give the best experience possible for everyone. She ensures that everything is possible for all and finds work arounds for when someone is struggling, to ensure they are included, no women is left behind! I am so lucky to have found this group where I get to travel the world, create memories that will last a lifetime, meet some amazing ladies who all empower each other and stand side by side plus make friendships to last a life time. I thank you Shareen Geers for that and what you have created from your little seed and I look forward to my many more trip with this amazing group.
I had the best time with LWT when I went to Finland in January 2026. I joined a group of 15 strangers and left with a group of 15 friends. The trip did everything it promised and more. Shareen organised a trip that pushed me to try new things. Whoever would have known I’d love ice dipping in a frozen lake, or snow shoeing through a forest. The trip is carefully curated so that there’s lots of time to do those ‘big ticket’ items and also to spend time exploring alone. LWT have created holidays for women who come with their own stories and aren’t afraid to add to them. I had such a great time, I booked my next trip ( to the Arctic) before I’d come home. If you’re thinking of a LWT trip - jump right in! The best experiences are there for you to enjoy, explore and remember for a life time!
Having been a part of the group for ~ 3 years I have had the most amazing experiences, met wonderful new friends and welcomed feeling part of a community. I have signed up for my second international trip this summer and would not hesitate to join in on any activities. I guess you never know until you try and sometimes trying can be the hard part. But go on…you really will love it. But it’s as much as you put into it as this is a community of like minded ladies who become friends and not a finessed travel agent so you make your own fun and love meeting new people.
I joined this group just over two years ago, looked on for months in the background and then decided to grab life by the horns and book my first trip with them to the Maldives 🇲🇻 Wow, it was amazing, so different to the holidays I was used too. I did so many different activities, things I never thought of doing. I’ve also been to Bali, Iceland , Croatia island hopping, Laughrne coastal resort, Cornwall and many local meet ups. I’ve made so many friends which I constantly keep in touch with. One lady came to visit me for my birthday.I have a new group of friends that think like myself, who are aging but still full of adventure and life. I think Shareen is very approachable, extremely kind, understanding and accommodating to any small issues you may have, which are resolved asap. I have never had any issues, I’ve always enjoyed every experience which I will also say has given me more confidence. I only want to travel with this group now, as I know I’ll have the best experience, value for money, valued friendships . Don’t hesitate, just book it and watch your life change for the better!
Just got back from my second LWT trip—a lovely weekend in the Peak District. As soon as I arrived, Louise, our host for the weekend, greeted me, checked me in, showed me where I’d be staying, introduced me to my yurt mates, and even handed me a glass of prosecco. Any nerves I had disappeared instantly.The weekend was packed with activities for all experience levels: hiking up Mam Tor, wandering around Bakewell for a bit of shopping, countryside walks, and a visit to Chatsworth House. Evenings were just as good—pizza night, a BBQ, and a fantastic Sunday roast at the local pub.Another 22 ladies to get to know, and the best night ended with all of us hopping between each other’s hot tubs with a few glasses of wine before gathering around the fire to play 'Higher or Lower' of all things. Such a fun, unexpected moment!
I have been a member from early on and was apprehensive about joining in. A cancellation came up for a weekend in Laugharne and I had the best time. Surrounded by like minded ladies it was amazing and can’t believe it took me so long to join in. I’ve always found everyone friendly and welcoming. Beach walks and dinners followed and met new people every time and got to know others better. Bali was a revelation to me, I could never have imagined doing this on my own. Shareen was so supportive and I was pushed well and truly out of my comfort zone but in a good way. Done some amazing things like swimming with whale sharks and manta rays, which was truly incredible. Stayed in some great hotels and one night in a hostel which was more than we could ever have expected. Had the best adventures and made great friends. Croatia island hopping last August was more than I could have imagined too. Great people, full itinerary, time to relax, have fun and all done for you. Honestly Shareen and her daughters are experts in planning these holidays and always make you feel welcome, it takes out the stress of planning it yourself. I should have been in Jordan this week but Mr Trump stopped that. I will go again with LWT when things are safe again. Next month North Wales with a friend I have recruited to join and looking forward to meeting more people, trying something new white water rafting and kayaking over the aqueduct and making more memories. My family and friends can’t believe I’m doing these holidays and are amazed and pleased for me. My confidence has grown so much. I just want to do more and looking forward to what Shareen plans next 🙏☺️
