I have been an 3 trips with LWT and I chose these as they are places and trips with a difference that I wanted to visit. LWT embraces who you are and introduces you to ladies who have similar mindsets and a want of travelling with others.Each trip sported and thought through by Shareen and her team. 👏👏👏
If I could give Shareen and Ladies Who Travel 100 ⭐️, I would!I've been on 3 international trips to Bali, the Maldives and Vietnam in the last 12 months and can honestly say that this group has changed my life.I have loads of friends, a wonderful partner and a full life, but I had no-one with either the time or the money to travel with and I prefer company to going it alone.LWT has filled that gap with incredible tours, packing in fantastic experiences and truly getting under the skin of the country you visit.I have met some fantastic women along the way and our Maldives group has continued to meet for a winter weekend away and we're planning trips together as well as hounding Shareen for further bucket list trips with the group!I particularly love that she asks where you'd like to go and then puts together those trips!I now count Shareen as a friend and truly appreciate what she has created for women to be able to confidently get way out of their comfort zone and make utterly amazing memories. ♥️
I’ve been travelling with Ladies Who Travel for quite a while now, and I can honestly say the experiences I’ve had with them have been some of the happiest and most memorable of my life. I’ve been on several of their UK mini‑breaks as well as a number of international trips, and every single one has left me smiling.What I love most is how easy they make everything. As a person who still loves exploring but doesn’t fancy the hassle of planning every detail, it’s such a relief to just turn up and know I’m in good hands. The itineraries are organised so well.The ladies I’ve met along the way have been wonderful — friendly, welcoming, and full of fun. There’s something special about being surrounded by women of a similar age who are all there to enjoy themselves and try something new.Shareen Geers deserves a mention . She's calm, organised, patient, and genuinely caring. She looks after everyone without making you feel fussed over, which is a real skill!I’ve visited places I might never have gone to on my own and made friendships I truly treasure. Whether it’s a quick UK getaway or a longer adventure abroad, I always come home refreshed, uplifted, and already booking or booked the next trip.Ladies Who Travel has given me opportunity , joy, and countless memories — and I recommend them wholeheartedly.
I have completed 3 trips with Ladies Who Travel Thailand, Croatia & Vietnam & have 2 more booked Albania & Borneo I have travelled a lot with many different companies over the years & can hand in heart say:The trips are exceptionally well researched & organised - Shareen puts her soul into arranging a great experience The room sharing does allow you to get to know your travel companions & helps break barriers down & of course it is up to us as individuals to join in (if we want to - I don’t always) & make new friends The more trips you go on you will be probably see some people from previous trips - it’s sort of how it works Some women talk a lot and some little, some have travelled before, some haven't, some are confident & some aren’t - it’s a real mixed bag that ‘bumble’ along together and help each other. We are all shapes, all sizes & all ages & it works out :-) On the Borneo trip, I am going out 2 weeks early, extending the duration with a woman I met in the Thailand trip Magic can & does happen - you may not need new friends & you may make some & travel companions can be a completely different thing than your friends at home I highly recommend :-)
No complaints at all with Ladies Who Travel I’ve been on 2 international trips and 1 in UK and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Well organised , daily activities always conveyed timeously, friendships formed , the host Shareen is warm, welcoming and a lot of fun
I’ve just come back from a tour to Cambodia and Vietnam. It’s my second tour with Ladies Who Travel. I’m so pleased I found this group as it enables me to travel to far away places with like minded women. Quite a few of the women knew each other from other tours and local meet ups and they have built a lovely connection between themselves. It’s lovely to watch (I’m an avid people watcher 😛)There were also ladies on this tour that I met on the last tour, our connection became more friendlier more solid. There were also ladies on this tour who I had met for the first time and we connected so well. ALL ladies were supportive of each other, we all encouraged each other. We have all faced similar obstacles in our lives, treaded similar paths. It was a very safe space to talk about our hardships our successes our dreams. And we want to travel! Shereen puts on the most rewarding tours in my opinion, they are jammed packed with experiences I would never do with a partner or by myself but with a group of brilliant women, yes! If you’re thinking of joining a tour, stop thinking, just do it - it’s daunting I know, but you’ll be so glad you did it x
I joined LWT about 18 months ago. Didn’t know much about the trips but joined to make new friends locally. I found after a life changing event that many friends simply weren’t there and I felt very lonely. I made the first step and joined a local meet up, did many more and have made some lovely friends that I now meet with often. I then made a big step and booked an international trip, it was so well organised and I met some lovely people. It was very daunting but I was made to feel welcome. I might not have got involved with everything as I would have years ago but I have booked more trips and I’m hoping each one I do will bring me back to my old self. Looking forward to many more memories and making new friends along the way. Haven’t regretted any of it, it’s been a god send when I needed it the most. Shareen has created a fantastic space for ladies, looking forward to what comes next xx
I would like to fully endorse Ladies who Travel. Im very grateful that I found this group. My first trip was a weekend in Wales, as I had an opportunity to climb Snowdon. There were more than 20 ladies on the trip, and I didn't know anyone. I'm usually quite quiet until I get to know people, but I embraced the personal challenge, and had a great time with this very friendly group. Since then, I've been on 3 overseas trips with Ladies who Travel, and have been given opportunities to experience things that I never thought possible. I've truly had adventures of a lifetime, and met some really lovely ladies. I have a lot of gratitude that I'm able to go on these wonderful trips, and I embrace every day when I'm on them. For me, Shareen is a very genuine person, and her ethos to empower ladies comes from the heart. Her itineraries are amazing; with so much attention to detail. Shareen works so hard putting everything together, in the hope that all ladies who choose one of her trips will have an amazing holiday. It certainly works for me!! Ive had the time of my life, and with 2 more trips booked this year, I can't wait for the next one!! I certainly appreciate having 'a Shareen' in my life
Recently returned from Vietnam (my third international trip) with Ladies Who Travel, having previously travelled to Thailand and Croatia with them last year. Had an amazing holiday with a fabulous, inspiring group of ladies. The trips are extremely well planned with great experiences for all to enjoy, including things I’d never do if planning myself! I love the fact that these amazing trips with Shareen are available and you literally jump in and get involved. I would not hesitate to recommend LWT and especially Shareen who really cares that everyone enjoys themselves and gets the most from their holiday. In fact roll on October for my next trip with LWT!
