I would like to share my feedback regarding my recent experience with the service. From the moment I submitted my request to the follow-up regarding a refund, the assistance I received was excellent. Although my ticket was initially not eligible for a refund, the team kindly reviewed my request and considered my situation carefully. I truly appreciate the effort and understanding shown in handling my case. The response was fast, clear, and professional throughout the process, which made the experience smooth and reassuring. This level of customer support reflects a high standard of service. Don't waste your time! My spouse and I fondly remember traveling with this service as college students, but things have deteriorated significantly. While we could use our pass in Italy and Spain for multiple trips, it now requires a reservation almost every time! We just wanted the freedom to hop on a train at a moment's notice, but we had to reserve and pay for practically every journey. This may not seem like a big deal, but the app was terrible, charging exorbitant fees and often providing inaccurate information! This forced us to go to a station for every reservation, incurring additional fees. It would have been much simpler to forgo the pass and buy individual tickets as needed! Not worth the cost or the hassle!
Do not be fooled by the positive reviews; they seem sponsored or manipulated. Using these passes is a hassle, especially if you don't want to spend hours trying to book. You'll face various issues like: not available on this network, errors, or no reservations for your selected date. The app often freezes and becomes unresponsive. If you plan to travel with different operators, forget it. The support chat is frustrating and unhelpful unless you're tech-savvy or can follow vague instructions that fail to work. I ended up using only 5 days of a 15-day pass, and had to pay full price directly to the operator for one essential trip, effectively paying twice for the same journey. Overall, I wasted around $1,600 on two passes. Never again. Consider yourself warned!
The app and booking process were not very user-friendly. While I found the pricing reasonable, the instructions for managing tickets and trips were frustrating. A single QR code for the entire journey would have simplified things significantly, rather than having to save trips for activation on each leg.
