I had new windows fitted by Lancashire Double Glazing. On the positive side, the workmanship itself has been good and the fitters on site were polite and friendly.Unfortunately, the overall experience has been very disappointing. The team treated my house more like a building site than a home. The office repeatedly pulled the workers off the job to start elsewhere, leaving me waiting. They were several days late even getting started. I was also charged for scaffolding that wasn’t actually needed, and although they assured me a refund would be given, I’ve still not received it.The biggest frustration is the complete lack of aftercare. I’ve emailed and called several times but had no reply or callback, which leaves me feeling ignored now that they’ve been paid.In short: decent workmanship let down by very poor organisation, unnecessary charges, and non-existent customer service.
Contacted this company regarding somebody breaking my front door they sent somebody round that day to measure up and within two days it was fitted from the lady on the phone to the guy fitting the front door the customer service was 2nd to none would highly recommend this company thank you. Your staff are an asset to your company.
Shocking admin and after sales. After spending several thousand £ with LDG in my home and my business over the years, I am now shocked at the dreadful standard of their admin and after sales service. EG Emails not replied to, answering machine giving office opening times 2 hours after they’ve opened and phone not answered, still awaiting a FENSA certificate 2 months after fitting, a safety chain that ripped off 3 weeks after fitting and replaced with the tackiest, cheap and nasty one you can imagine (which they wanted £50 to replace!!!!)In truth, I have lost all confidence in the company and am quite anxious about how the quality of the composite doors will pan out. Won’t be going back that’s for sure.
Fantastic service from start to finish. We ordered a front and rear door and a new patio sliding door, great communication from ordering to everything being fitted, the installer’s were polite, very tidy and worked really hard, we would highly recommend.
