Review Time
Unfortunately this project took longer than anticipated to bring to a (potentially)satisfactory close.We had a few issues along the way with the installation (doors) and being honest if it wasn't for the involvement of the operations director I doubt we would have seen closure any time soon.We are now awaiting the weather to change for the worse in which to make our judgement on the work carried out to our doors and hopefully we can finally give a review worthy of the outstanding effort the director gave to bring a positive end to our project.Without mentioning names...the operations director, (she) went above and beyond to try and rectify the above issues whilst keeping in constant communication, thank you very much.
Currently on month 4 of what was pitched as a 4 week job. Constant no shows from some of the trades people, although equally quick to point out that a couple of them have been excellent but let down by an extremely poor back office structure. We have been left to chase up the absentees individually whilst the representative of LDG has blatantly lied about absences as we now know they were sent to other jobs. Shocking communication throughout and a complete lack of respect for their clients and not a shred of accountability. We were told last Monday that the work would be finished by Friday, only for the electrician to disappear again and us being ignored by the office. Untrustworthy & disorganised. Would definitely not recommend.
This company did not turn up when booked - causing anxiety for my 91 year old mother. They then claimed that they required a 15% deposit for a new door BEFORE coming to survey the job. This is ridiculous! Shifting the blame for poor communication on to the customer and if this is correct - expecting a deposit before even visiting the property. Give a wide berth!
We've been using this company as a trade customer for a number of years now and are their largest trade customer. The service cannot be faulted and is the reason we exclusively use them for all PVC products. Muhammad in the trade office is a testament to the exceptional service provided and we see him as an integral asset to them due to his uncompromising knowledge and willingness to assist in all matters large or small. Would definitely recommend Lancashire Double Glazing for any works either in a supply or installation capacity!
Our single storey extension was completed by LDG and has been a first class experience from start to finish. Extremely pleased with all work carried out by LDG - from Owen Gilmartin the sales rep who was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable to the efficient builders, fitters, electricians, plumber and Heather the works co-ordinator who kept us informed of timescales. Cannot fault the workmanship and professionalism of all their contractors. LDG project managed all the works and their communication was faultless.
